Naruto Perspective
I ran down the corridors, trying to get out of this labyrinth of a hideout. I opened a door into a corridor and ran straight into Sasuke.
"Oh hello," I said politely, taking his hand, "Shall we continue this together now?"
Sasuke rolled his eyes, shushed me again, and we took off.
We ran for about another half hour before seeing an exit. We ran hand in hand outside.
Time Skip To Later On
I had left Sasuke in my apartment because Tsunade needed our mission report.
"Where is Sai?" she asked. Sakura glanced at me.
"Sadly," she began, "Sai was killed. I was not there, so I don't know who killed him."
"Could you not have saved him?" Tsunade asked skeptically.
"I was too late," Sakura replied, "Even if I was on time, I could not have saved him. Something tore his heart out of his chest."
"Well, that is unfortunate," Lady Tsunade said, "So do either of you know where Sasuke is right now?"
"No," Sakura said truthfully, "He knocked me out and I lost him."
"No," I lied, "He's faster than us, so I lost him also."
"Naruto, do you know who killed Sai?" Tsunade asked.
"No," I lied.
"Dismissed," the Hokage dismissed us. I left slowly and calmly to avoid suspicion.
"I'm home!" I called when I stepped into the apartment. I usually don't do that, because I live alone. When I got no answer, I was concerned.
"Ummm..." I mumbled, trying to find him. I found him asleep on the floor on a pile of books.
"That's cute," I murmured, "Wait. I have books?" Sasuke woke up, looking very confused.
"Hello," I greeted. He grunted in return. I picked him up and placed him on the bed because he'd probably be more comfortable there.
"God, you're light," I exclaimed. He nodded.
"Where am I?" he asked.
"My apartment," I reminded him.
"Oh," he muttered, "Okay."
"What were you reading?" I asked.
Sasuke shrugged. "I wasn't paying attention," he replied.
I sat down on the bed next to him and hugged him.
"I missed you so much," I whispered.
"You were only gone to give your report for a half hour," he informed me.
I shook my head.
"No," I mumbled, "I meant before I got you back." There was a knock on the door.
"Hide in the bathroom," I hissed. Sasuke got up and ran to the bathroom as I got up and opened the door.
"Grandma Tsunade!" I exclaimed, "What are you doing here?"
