Jenna had been in the horse box for about an hour chilling out. She's got another track suit, taken off her make up and threw her hair up into a messy bun.
She was sat watching tv when Frankie and max burst in.
“what are you guys doing shouldn’t you stop be partying.” Jenna said not really taking her attention off the t.v.
“well you see once you stormed off and with the whole Dave thing an all it sorta killed the mood.” Frankie laughed being blunt but they could take it. The three of them always said it liken it was no matter what and took it in light humour.
“oh well I apologise being a party pooper.” She rolled her eyes sarcastically. Max laughed Frankie glared at her but couldn’t help but laugh too.
“so why'd storm off?” max asked knowing its winde her up.
“I didn’t storm off.” Jenna said grumpily at his choice of words. She hated drama even if she seemed to be involved in a lot of it at the moment and would hate to be referred to as a drama queen.
“ok well why did you dramatically leave?” max smirked. She eyed him trying to hide a smile it clicking that he was trying to winde her up. She threw a pillow at him that he narrowly deflected laughing.
“Benji asked me if there was something going on between us.” Jenna sighed.
“your joking after all I spoke to him about.” Max exclaimed slightly shocked slightly pissed off.
“right well I've got a bone to pick with you two anyway. Don’t go getting all pissy with me but like what hells actually going in with you two I get that your close friends and all I really do. Your unique bond and all the banter that comes with it is what makes the two of you so special and a great laugh to be around but seriously back there with all that Dave shit that was intense. Like for a second even I second guessed if there was anything going on between you guys.” Frankie said.
“are you being serious.” Jenna laughed at her in disbelief.
“ come on Frankie you know us better than that.” Max reasoned.
“it’s well you know you guys did sleep together not so long ago I wasn’t sure if anything had maybe changed...” Frankie said unsure.
“that’s totally irrelevant. It changes nothing.” Jemma said.
“hey if anything it just proved that it was not what we wanted.” Max said then held his hands up to Jenna in a ‘no offense’ way and she nodded in a ‘no offence taken’ way.
“Frankie we work together we live together we spend probably 90% of our time together and we've been through a lot together max has really helped me through a really difficult time in my life so yes we are very close but it doesn’t mean we’re hiding a relationship. If there was anything going on between us which there's not there'd be no reason for us to hide it or lie about it anyway.” Jenna said.
“yeh what she said.” Max nodded in agreement with Jenna.
“ok fine I believe you but I still have bone to pick with you.” She said looking at Jenna. “well both of you actually but more you Jenna. As great as your friendship is you need to stop using it as a surrogate relationship and stop closing off to the possibilities of a real relationship.” Frankie said. Both Jenna and max opened their mouths to speak. “no don’t argue with me you know I’m right. Jenna you need to go and speak to Benji clearly you both like each other a lot you have a history together. Yes there been shit gone on lately but as of now he’s single your single and you both like each other so go for it.” Frankie said bluntly Jenna raised her eyes like ‘I can’t believe you’ve just said that but you are right’ and laughed it off.
“so what about me.” Max said.
“you, you’ve not had a proper girlfriend in well I can’t even remember your going to end up like a crazy cat woman or living at the bottom of Jenna and Benji garden when they’re finally married and have a house and kids together in time to come.” Frankie said laughing at her own prediction.
“who says I want a girl friend why tie myself down when I can play the field.” Max grinned.
“hey and slow your self down there lady, married! Kids!” Jenna laughed.
“hmm well see.” Frankie smirked.
Not long after Frankie went to bed, she was staying in the back room with Jenna as max was on the bunk above the cab. Max had fell asleep on the sofa Jenna couldn’t sleep so she decided to go outside for a cigarette. She was sat enjoying the piece and quiet as everyone was either in bed or over at the party. She was in her own bubble watching the stars thinking she didn’t notice somebody walking over to her.
“penny for them.” Benji's voice said softly bringing her out if her bubble.
“Hey.” She said turning to look at him. “ was in my own little bubble then.” She smiled.
“sorry I can go...” Benji started.
“No, sit.” She smiled patting the hay bale next to her. Benji smiled and sat next to her it wasn’t very big so they was squished close together.
“how come your walking round so late shouldn’t you either be really drunk at the party or asleep by now?” she asked.
“on left the party not long after you but I couldn’t sleep. How come your still up?” he said.
“I could sleep either, Frankie's not the easiest person to share your bed with she likes ‘star fishing’ and well the beds not that big to begin with.” Jenna explained and they had a little laugh then went quiet.
“I um I think no owe you an apology.” Benji said turning to look at her. She nodded acceptingly.
“I think I owe you an apology too.” She said turning to meet his eyes he looked confused. “I’ve not been the easiest person to deal with.” She said.
“I cant say I’ve been faultless in it all. I’ve made such a mess of things...” Benji said starting to ramble.
“Benj how about we just forget about it all, clean slate, fresh start.” Jenna cut him off.
“are you sure?” Benji stuttered.
“more then sure.” She smiled at him. “Frankie’s gave me a few home truths lately and I feel like I’ve got my head straight again.” Jenna said thoughtfully.
“when you left the party earlier Frankie gave me a few words too.” He said with a smirk as if the little boy who’s just had a telling off. Jenna laughed.
“that’s our Frankie for you she's as blunt as they come but gotta hand it to her she’s always bloody right.” Jenna smiled.
“always?” Benji asked mischievously.
“pretty much.” Jenna replied not giving it much thought.
“hmm interesting as she told me your totally besotted with me.” He smirked.
“oh did she now? well I have to say she is known to exaggerate things too.” Jenna laughed playing along.
“exaggerate as in has to be some truth in it in the first place?” Benji said flirtatiously leaning a little closer.
“I guess so.” She said seductively moving that little bit closer to close the gap and they broke into a long passionate kiss. They sat cuddled up just enjoying each other’s company unsure of exactly how long they'd been there for. Jenna subconsciously yawned.
“Hey think we should make a move?” Benji said quietly. Jenna nodded and sat up stretching.
“must be getting late.” Jenna said.
“I’ve had a really nice time.” Benji smiled as they stood up.
“me too.” She smiled giving him a little kiss again.
“so erm I'll see you around tomorrow?” Benji said.
“sure, night Benji.” Jenna smiled.
“night Jenna.” He smiled giving her a hug and a kiss then he left and she went in the horse box.

The next morning Jenna was up first as usual closely followed by Frankie. She made some coffee and sat with Frankie.
“I can't believe your leaving today.” Jenna said.
“I know flying visit but you know what it's like with horses I can’t leave the yard for too long.” Frankie said.
“well its been good seeing you.” Jenna smiled.
“yes I just hope I made you feel better too.” Frankie smiled.
“you did as always thank you for you no shit blunt truth.” Jenna laughed.
“I’m not that bad am I?” Frankie laughed.
“well...” Jenna teased her. “it’s not a bad thing and you have a good way of putting it.” Jenna laughed.
“morning campers.” Max yawned and stretched as he work up and sat up.
“coffee made if you want it.” Jenna said then there was a knock at the door. “it’s open.” She called signalling the person could come in. Seconds later Jackie appeared.
“morning guys.” Jackie smiled.
“hey.” Jenna smiled.
“morning.” Max said.
“hi Jackie.” Frankie said.
“how are you doing Jenna how’s your arm?” Jackie said.
“I’m ok thanks its a little bruised but I’ll be fine.” Jenna said.
“let me see?” Jackie eyed her suspiciously. Jenna slowly pulled up her sleeve to reveal a very badly bruised forearm all shades of black and blue.
“Jenna are you sure you don’t need to get that checked out.” Jackie said surprised how bad the bruise was but not surprised at Jenna trying to play it down she wasn’t ever one to make a big deal out of things like this.
“Jesus Jenna that’s pretty bad.” Frankie eyed her worriedly.
“see you should have let me knock him out.” Max said angrily.
“no you won't max were going to deal with this properly. Jenna well go and file a complaint about him and then of you want to yet that arm checked out we can go too.” Jackie said.
“Ok but it won’t need looking at I can move everything it’s just bruised.” Jenna said.
“Ok if your sure. Max you'll be ok starting the horses this morning won’t you?” Jackie said.
“yep no worries.” Max said.
“I can help with them too. I don’t leave till later on.” Frankie offered.
“thank you Frankie.” Jackie smiled. “ok you ready?” Jackie asked Jenna. Jenna smiled and nodded then they left.

By the time Jackie and Jenna and got back from filing the complaint about Dave it was nearly time for the first show to start so Jackie went off to check everything was ready in the big top and Jenna went over to get changed and check max and Frankie where ok.
“hey did you get everything sorted?” Frankie asked Jenna as she made her way over to the stables.
“yeh turns out there's been several other complaints against him for various other reasons too.” Jenna said
“good hopefully he won’t be around much longer.” Max said not hiding the hatred in his voice one bit. Jenna nodded in agreement.
“ok so I've got puzzle all groomed and ready for your show just check everything’s ok for you and max has almost finished the stables so I’ll give him a hand finishing off.” Frankie smiled.
“really? Are you sure you have to leave I could get used to this having a groom thing.” Jenna laughed.
“hey watch it.” Frankie laughed giving her a playful shove. “and this boy is something special isn’t he.” She said patting sully.
“yeh he is. He's a character that’s for sure but he's really talented.” Jenna said proudly.
“I might just pack him in my suitcase and take him with me. You sure he’s not for sale?” Frankie grinned.
“no sorry never. These guys look after my ass day in day out they're irreplaceable.” Jenna said.
“I know but it was worth an ask.” Frankie said.
“right I best make my way over to the big top. Thanks again Frankie.” Jenna smiled
“thank you max.” Max called after her joking.
“thank you for doing your job max.” Jenna laughed rolling her eyes.

After the show they finished up ready to get lunch before getting ready for the next show. Just as Frankie Jenna and max where finishing Seraya, AJ, Erin and Brad came walking past.
“and where are you guys off too.” Max said.
“just for some lunch over by the picnic tables...” Erin said.
“ah great we'll come with.” Max smiled Jenna and few lie seemed to agree.
“we’re erm meeting Paul and the guys too.” Seraya said awkwardly as none of them knew about Benji and Jenna ‘making up’ last night. They all looked at Jenna as if for the go ahead expecting her to make her excuses not to go but instead she just shrugged and nodded and started walking. They all looked at each other a if it was a bit odd but just went with it.

As the got to the picnic area Benji Paul Billy and Dean where already there. They all started saying their hellos to each other then as Jenna and Benji gave each other a half hug and cheek to cheek kiss with a smile and a ‘Hey’ they all free doing a double take.
“what hell!” Seraya laughed.
“did my eyes actually just see that.” Max laughed.
“what did we miss.” Billy laughed looking at them confused as we everyone else.
“and when?” Frankie added.
“did you not actually tell anyone?” Jenna laughed to Benji expecting he would have chatted with the guys.
“Well no it sort of didn't come up.” Benji laughed. “but it doesn’t look like you either.”
“well no but I’ve been sort of busy this morning.” Jenna laughed.
“well..” Paul said impaciently as they was all still stood smiling at them in shock waitinf for an explanation.
“we erm talking last night.” Jenna said simply with a shrugged as of no big deal and st down as if nothing was going on. Everyone else started to sit down but looking from Jenna to Benji waiting for more.
“yet pretty much.” Benji shrugged looking at them.
“you talked?” Erin said in disbelief waiting for more.
“yeh.” Jenna said simply.
“when?” Frankie said demanding more detail.
“last night when your home to bed I was put having a fag.” Jenna said.
“and I was out for a walk.” Benji said.
“and...” Paul prompted. Then all still looking at Benji and Jenna as if it was the news of the century.
“we talked.” Benji said reiterating what Jenna said.
“so like you just talked, just like that.” Dean laughed mimicking their casual tone about it after all that’s gone on.
“yep.” Jenna and Benji looked at each and said at the same time.
“I cant believe you didn’t mention it once this morning, if we hadn’t have come here for lunch would you have let me leave without knowing I fixed this.” Frankie said with humour taking credit for them after all her little ‘words’ she's had with them.
“no, I was busy this morning wasn’t I. It would have come up at some point.” Jenna laughed playing it down.
“unbelievable.” Frankie rolled her eyes joking. “well I'm happy you seem to be working things out.” She concluded smiling genuinely.
“cheers to that.” Max added and everyone else said some form of approval or congratulations to them.
They made general chit chat for the rest of their lunch then the good Charlotte guys, minus Joel and Rachel which was clearly noted but wasn’t brought up, went back to do sound check and the rest of them went back to prepare for their second circus show of the day.

During the second circus show Frankie went and packed her stuff ready to leave after the show for her flight home.
“an I can’t believe you have to leave already.” Jenna said giving Frankie a hug when she got back to the stables after the show.
“I know we need to make time to catch up properly more often no matter how busy or far away we are and hopefully under better circumstances." Frankie said.
“are you ready to go Frank's?” max said coming out of the horse box from getting changed as he would be taking Frankie to the airport.
“Yeh.” Frankie said. “right take care of yourself.” Frankie said to Jenna giving her another hug.
“you too.” Jenna said.
“you look after her.” Frankie warned max.
“always do.” Max smiled proudly. “right come on we need to go or you’ll miss your flight.” He said checking his watch.
“yep let’s go, bye Jenna.” Frankie called as her and max got into the car.
“I’ll be as fast as I can Jenna.” Max called to her as they still had the horses to finish off for the night.
“Ok don't rush I’ve got this.” Jenna smiled. Max and Frankie left and Jenna started sorting out the horses out.

As Jenna was doing the horses as she came out of sully’s stable she seen Benji making his way over to her.
“hey.” Jenna smiled at him.
“hey.” He smiled back.
“what beings you here.” Jenna said still smiling glad of a bit of company it was quiet without max around.
“Paul was coming over to see Seraya so I thought I’d come see you too.” Benji said sweetly.
“ah that’s nice.” She couldn’t help but smile at him.
“you all by yourself?” Benji asked looking around.
“yeh max has took Frankie to the airport.” Jenna said carrying on with some stable jobs as Benji followed and chatted.
“so erm Paul and Seraya are going out for dinner he said we could join them.. if you wanted to.” Benji asked.
“ah Benji I'd love to but I’ve got these guys to finish off and then I was going to take Sully out for a hack round the grounds, he could do with stretching his legs.” Jenna said. “sorry.” She added when she seen the look of disappointment in his face.
“Its ok I thought it might be a bit short notice maybe some other time.” Benji said.
“you could always changing round here whilst I finish then come out with me and sully on puzzle.” Jenna said with a smile.
“on puzzle? Oh no I don’t ride.” Benji said with a laugh.
“you’d be fine, puzzle will look after you. Max isn’t a rider but he’ll ride puzzle.” Jenna laughed.
“still I think I’ll pass, max at least has more hands on experience.” Benji laughed uneasy at the idea of riding a horse.
“ok fine.” Jenna laughed at the look of horror on his face. “how about I finish up here and I could come over to your bus when I’m done and we could do something then?” Jenna suggested.
“a long as it doesn't involve me horse riding it sounds good to me.” Benji smiled.
“ok well I will see you later.” Jenna said with a smile.
“look forward to it.” Benji said as he started heading off.
Jenna finished off the horses and rode sully then went and got showered and changed. She dressed casually with her jeans and vest top and left her hair to dry naturally in natural loose curls with just a bit of eye make up.
As she was leaving to go to Benji max was just coming in.
“wow where you off too.” Max said.
“I said I’d go meet Benji he came over before wanting to go out for dinner with Seraya and Paul but I was doing the horses and riding sully so I said is go over once I was done.”
“oh I see how it is.” Max said taking hurt.
“oh max.” Jenna started believing him then she noticed the smile his face and playfully hit him.
“it’s ok I’ll go for a beer with brad.” He laughed.
“Ok well see you later.” Jenna smiled.
“yeh, have fun.” Max called to her as he was going on to the box.
“you too.” Jenna said as she started walking over to the GC bus.

As Jenna got to the GC bus she knocked on the door. To her slight surprise Rachel opened the door as she seen it was Jenna she closes the door straight away. Jenna raised her eyebrows then heard Benji's voice from the inside say ‘was that the door’ the opened it again.
“I didn’t know you was expecting anyone.” Rachel said with a scowl.
“charming.” Jenna said with a sigh.
“sorry.” Benji mouthed to her.
“hey Joel.” Jenna smiled at him. He just smiled back awkwardly as Rachel shot him a glare.
“so um what do you want to do? We could hang out here...” Benji suggested. Jenna looked around there seemed to be only Joel and Rachel in the bus which currently the way things where wasn’t so appealing.
“or we could go for a walk check out what’s going on outside.” She suggested turning to look at him and step closer to him. “and the horse box is empty max is out. “ she said quietly seductively.
“sounds like a plan.” He smiled at her. “were going out Joel see you later.” Benji said taking Jenna’s hand leading them out the tour bus.
“so you didn't fancy a double date with Joel and Rachel?” Benji said with a laugh.
“hardly the warmest welcome.” Jenna said sarcastically.
“I know I’m sorry.” Benji said guiltily.
“Rachel I get but Joel not gunna lie hurts that he’s being off with me.” Jenna said.
“Joel's not being...” Benji started but Jenna gave him don’t bullshit me look. “Ok but you know he doesn’t mean it he’s just trying not to get a hard time from Rachel.” Benji said. Jenna gave him a disapproving look and dropped it there.
“so where’s max at?” Benji asked ad they reached the horse box door.
“he went for beers with brad so they’ll probably be out till early hours of the morning.” Jenna said opening the door going inside Benji following her.
“so what now.” Benji said suggestively with a smile. She turned to him stepping closer.
“hmm let me see...” she smiled holding his intense eye contact. Placing a hand on the back of his neck pulling him closer for a kiss. He stepped close putting his hands around her placing them on her lower back pulling her that little bit closer so their bodies where pressed up against each other, deepening the kiss. They moved with out breaking the kiss once to the back room where things got even hotter.

Later on Benji and Jenna ordered pizza and was sat eating in the kitchen area Benji just in his boxers and Jenna in her underwear and vest top.
“oh well well well what do we have here.” A very merry max grinned as he walked through the door seeing Jenna and Benji and helping him self to some pizza swaying a little and holding onto the table to keep his balance.
“help your self.” Jenna laughed at him.
“I will. I feel very over dressed for this party.” He laughed.
“well stop crashing it then.” Jenna laughed and Benji looked on amused. “how come your back, I thought you’d be our later?”
“I bet you did.” Max laughed raising an eye brow at them. “we got chucked out.” He shrugged simply.
“what! Why?” Jenna asked half shocked half amused.
“Brads that drunk he walked into the ladies toilets by accident, it didn't go down too well. Always was a bit of a light weight.” Max explained shaking his head.
“where’s Bras now?” Jenna asked slightly concerned.
“don’t worry I deposited him back off at his RV... did a knock and run leaving him on the doorstep for AJ to deal with.” Max laughed.
“your terrible.” Jenna said shaking her head but unable to hide a laugh. Max just shrugged.
“got him back didn’t I.” Max laughed.
“right well I guess I'll do a night check on the horses, god knows what would happen if you do.” Jenna sighed. “I won’t be long you hang out here if you want.” Jenna said to Benji he nodded.

When Jenna returned from doing the night check max was sat opposite Benji where Jenna had been sat the two of them laughing and joking.
“well you two having a good time.” Jenna smiled glad they along.
“pizza, beer and good company what's not to like" max said still very drunk raising his beer bottle to her. She smiled with a little laugh squeezing in sitting next to Benji. The three of them chatted and joked around for a good while longer eating pizza and drinking beer.
“it’s getting late or early depending on how you look at it I guess I’d best be getting back.” Benji said.
“or you could stay here.” Max said simply bot really thinking much of it. Benji looked to Jenna for her reaction.
“feel free if you like it’s a squeeze but your welcome too.” Jenna shrugged.
“as long as it’s ok.” Benji said.
“totally fine.” Jenna smiled reassuringly. Benji relaxed he was happy to be getting on so well with Jenna again just like old times he thought to himself.
