The next day went by like any other everyone went about their day doing their thing within the festival as it got to finishing up time for the horses Jenna had just nipped into the horse box when max seen Benji walking over with a large bouquet of flowers, wine and chocolates looking a bit nervous. Max smirked when he seen him.
“hey Jenna come here a minute!” Max called out to her.
“What?” She said coming out the box then as she seen Benji she couldn’t help but give a little smile.
“what the hell are you doing?” She laughed.
“well I was just going to go with the chocolates as you already said wine or chocolates are better than flowers and I know max is the wine guy but then I thought I have been a total ass so went with all three.” He rambled his explanation making her laugh.
“you really didn’t have to.” She smiled.
“I did but you also have to take something off me before I end up dropping it all.” He laughed and she stepped over taking the flowers from him and motioning for him to follow her into the horse box.
“don't worry Jen ill finish up here.” Max called after her sarcastically joking.
“thank you.” She said marching his sarcasm.
As they got into the horse box Jenna put the flowers into a vase with water. Benji placed the wine and chocolates on the side hovering nervously for a minute.
“you can sit down you know.” Jenna eyed him with a smile noticing his nervousness.
“I really am sorry you know.” Benji said looking at her sincerely.
“forget it Benj.” Jenna brushed off putting the kettle on. “bru?” She asked casually he nodded.
“I really shouldn’t let things get in my head I really do love and trust you and...” Benji rambled.
“Benj it’s fine, let’s just forget it.” She smiled sincerely sitting down with the drinks which he seemed to accept more and relaxed. “but don’t think you can just buy my forgiveness next time.” She warned jokingly.
“There won’t be a next time.” Benji laughed.
“Let’s hope not.” Jenna smiled. “come here.” She said leaning over for a kiss.
“I don’t deserve you.” Benji smiled.
“Yes you do.” she said seriously thinking of what Joel had said.

By now they was four weeks into the festival the following two weeks went by very smoothly. Everyone worked like clockwork by now at doing their thing within the festival. Friendship where building between everyone as they got to know each other more. The Good Charlotte guys and the circus team mingled together a lot forming close friendships. Paul and Seraya where still together, Benji and Jenna’s relationship was back to bring stronger than ever, true to Joel’s word he managed to keep Rachel out of Benji and Jenna's business, max and Benji also got along really well too. Amongst everything else AJ and Erin where planning their wedding.

“Jenna Copeland you best be out of those breeches in clean clothes and not smelling like horses!” Erin shouted to say she was a bit stressed was an understatement. It was the festival day off and Erin Seraya and Jenna was going for a dress fitting. Erin had chosen Seraya and Jenna as her bridesmaids. Jenna of course had to do the horses first and rode sully but was running a bit late.
“She’s not ready yet Erin I think you need to go kick her ass.” Max laughed trying to cause trouble in jest as he walked over to the RVs where the rest of the circus team where sat chilling with Paul Benji Billy and Dean.
“put your wooden spoon away max, chill out Erin we’ve got plenty of time.” Seraya tried to calm Erin down. Moments later Jenna ran out in her jeans and finishing buttoning up her shirt.
“all ready, untwist your knickers I’m here.” Jenna said breathlessly as if no big deal.
“you should have been here ten minutes ago.” Erin barked.
“well I’m here now, let’s go before we’re late.” Jenna couldn’t help but have a little laugh knowing it would wind Erin up a little more as a way of getting back at her for shouting at her. Everyone else was looking on trying to hold in their own laughs at the tension and jest on Jenna's side.
“if your not going to take this seriously then you don’t have to be a bridesmaid.” Erin snapped although she didn’t mean it deep down she was just stressed.
“great stuff I'll go get changed and get on puzzle then as you know some of us do have other commitments too you know!” Jenna shouted back seriously this time. Again it was more in heat of the moment than actual meaning it.
“guys..” Seraya tried to intervene but neither laid attention to her.
“are you serious!” Erin shot back outraged.
“No she's not.” Seraya tried again.
“wanna bet how serious I am.” Jenna said turning and walking to the horse box. Erin went to run after her in anger. Seraya turned to look at max and AJ for help. AJ grabbed Erin but the waist and picked her up and max grabbed Jenna.
“now Jenna we appreciate you are very busy and have other things that need doing too and Erin we know your feeling stressed about getting everything perfect for the wedding but arguing between yourselves is not going to get any of us anywhere is it. Not to mention we are now late so either you two kiss and make up now or the guys are going to lock you in the RV until you do.” Seraya said sternly. Jenna and Erin just looked at each other still being restrained by the boys. AJ and max cautiously put the girls down and to everyone’s relief they smiled and hugged.
“right come on before you make us any later.” Jenna smirked.
“if you wasn’t such a drama queen.” Erin laughed.
“touché.” Jenna raised her eyebrows with a smile and the three girls set off.
The three girls had become such close friends more like sisters. where Seraya was the peace keeper and everybody's friend, Jenna and Erin where much more firey they bickered and fought like sisters but made up just as quick.


Later that afternoon when the girls arrived back the circus guys, good charlotte guys and Rachel where all in and around the RVs hanging out.
“all good?” AJ asked as he and max eyed all three girls not just meaning with the dresses after the little friction between Jenna and Erin before they left.
Erin smiled and nodded walking into her RV but they didn't look too convinced.
“all good.” Seraya smiled a little more convincingly but they still looked suspicious. AJ got up to check on Erin. Max turned to looked at Jenna.
“yeh all good.” She sighed with a fake smile. Heading over to where Benji was stood talking to Dean giving him a quick kiss.
“Jenna, did you play nicely?” max questioned.
“yes.” Jenna said as if a teenage being interpreted by a parent.
“Well what’s all that about?” max asked.
“nothing she’s fine.” Jenna clearly lied.
“don’t lie.” Max eyed her “what did you do?”
“nothing.” Jenna said innocently. Max eyes her.
“she’s just in a bit of a grump because she thinks she needs to loose some weight for the wedding because she thinks she looks fat in the style of dress that She likes.” Jenna sighed.
“that’s ridiculous she's not fat and certainly doesn't need to lose weight.” Max frowned.
“yeh exactly what I told her but apparently that was the wrong thing too.” Jenna said.
“ah I’m sure she’ll come round she's just stressing over planning the wedding.” Max said Jenna nodded in agreement. “so she doesn’t need added grief off you.” He added scolding her for fighting with Erin earlier.
“she’s not getting grief off me there’s just a limit to how much grief I'll take of her.” Jenna said with a little laugh. Max laughed and shook his head leaving her with Benji as Dean had also just walked away.
“hey so how’s things Benji smiled as they stood closely stroking her cheek with his palm and thumb resting his hand on her shoulder and she had her arms loosely wrapped round his waist.
“good-ish. The dresses are lovely Erin had a bit of a wobble thinking she needs to loose weight which she doesn't, then had another grump at me for telling her she was perfect how she was and she didn’t need to lose weight. Weddings are stressful.” Jenna laughed sighing rubbing her head and he kissed her forehead with a smile. “how are you anyway, been up to much?” Jenna looked up at him as they still stood in their close embrace talking.

“aw now look at those too you couldn’t get any more romantic in a rom-com.” Seraya gushed looking over to Jenna and Benji as she sat down with the big group outside the RVs.
“I know. Who’d have ever thought we’d find anyone to make our Jenna show her softer side.” Jackie joked as she walked past and went into her RV.
“they always have made a great couple.” Billy smiled.
“just a shame it took them both so long to realise it. Paul said.
“well we'll see about that.” Rachel said almost as if she thought it and her mouth said it before she had chance to think I about it and try to stop herself.
“and what’s that supposed to mean?” seraya looked at her.
“Rach just drop it.” Joel pleaded quietly not wanting to cause arguments
“well Benji can hardly trust her when they’re around each other almost 24/7 what’s going to happen in less than two weeks when the festival ends and we go our separate ways and Benji has to wave her off with him.” Rachel said plainly pointing at max.
Jenna and Benji walked over to join them but clearly hadn't heard what they was talking about but from the looks everyone gave them they knew something was wrong.
“oh what now.” Jenna sighed she’d had enough mellow drama for one day.
“oh we’re just wondering how your relationship is going to work once the festival finishes in less than two weeks.” Rachel stated. Jenna raised her eyebrows Benji looked uncomfortable.
“erm Well one it’s none of your concern and two pretty much how it is now.” Jenna said trying very hard to stay calm.
“it won't really will it because at least here he can keep a check of what your up to.” Rachel smiled sweetly as if she was giving her some useful advice. “but when these guys go back to the studio and touring and you go doing god knows what you do with him..” she pointed at max.
“excuse me.” Jenna said as if to explode at any moment.
“Max.” Seraya whispered loudly to get him to get ready to grip Jenna off Rachel.
“oh no she deserves all she gets.” Max said holding his hands up refusing to break it up if Jenna went for Rachel.
“Rach I don't think this is necessary.” Benji said trying to defuse the situation.
“oh I think it Is, how can you trust her.” Rachel sniped.
“Joel you'd better get your girlfriend to wind her neck in before I do it for her.” Jenna said through gritted teeth.
“what’s up truth hurt.” Rachel smirked Jenna launched towards her but Benji caught her before she made contact.
“Jenna!” Jackie warned just catching a glimpse of what was going on.
“oh but Jackie she deserves it, let her go Benji.” Max laughed earning a slap on the shoulder from Jackie.
“that may be the case however I’m not having Jenna thrown off the festival for misconduct.” Jackie said reasonably. “I think it’s best of you two leave.” Jackie said looking at Joel and Rachel as Benji still struggled a little to hold a raging Jenna back. Joel got up looking apologetically ushering a smug looking Rachel away with him. “I think you two need to go for a chat.” Jackie eyed Jenna and Benji and nodded towards the horse box. Jenna stopped struggling to get out of Benji's grasp once Rachel had left with Joel. Jenna walked to the horse box without saying a word Benji followed her. As Benji got in the horse box he closed the door Jenna stopped and turned to look at him leaning back on the edge of the table.
“Benji do you not trust Me?” Jenna said as if tired of the same old shit.
“of course I do.” He said sincerely stepping closer to her.
“so where’s she coming from again.” Jenna shook her head.
“I don't know, honestly I don’t. Certainly not from me at all.” Benji said hoping she believed him he was determined he wasn't going to let Rachel get into his head again.
“are you sure?” Jenna asked him eyeing him.
“never been more sure.” He said stepping closer closing the gap between them so they was inches apart.
“but do you trust me enough to not let her get into your head even when your away doing your thing and I’m away doing my thing and we may not have seen each other for a little while.” Jenna said not seeming convinced.
“yes totally I love and trust you one hundred percent. I am so lucky to have you I never want to let anything get in the way of that.” Benji said placing his hands on either side of her face running his thumbs over her cheek bones and kissing her.
“if your sure.” She said.
“never been more sure.” He smiled and kissed her again which got more heated and the moved to the bedroom.
A bit later Benji and Jenna where sat cuddled on the sofa talking totally lost track of what time it was.
“so what are your plans after the festival?” Benji asked.
“erm Well the circus doesn’t have much booked in straight after which is good as it’s the run up to the nationals so we’ll take the horses to Frankie’s they’ll have a week or so off then two weeks of training for the nationals and well be at the nationals for around 5 days if all goes well anyway.” Jenna explain.
“well there’s no doubt about that.” Benji smiled.
“how about you guys?” Jenna asked playing with Benji’s hand.
“we'll be taking some time out from touring whilst we work in the studio for a while on some new stuff.” Benji said.
“that’s good because I could do with a date for an up coming wedding.” Jenna grinned.
“it would be my pleasure.” Benji smiled.
“who said I was thinking you I was going to ask Billy.” Jenna laughed joking.
“oh is that how it is, is it.” Benji laughed faking hurt.
“maybe.” She smirked. Benji dove on her play fighting pinning her down with her arms but she managed to over power him to spin them round again.
“oh my god how strong are you.” Benji laughed.
“its these equestrian muscles, look I deal with half tone of horse every day.” She laugh proudly.

Meanwhile over by the RVs
“are Jenna and Benji still not back?” Dean asked looking round their group of good charlotte and circus guys minus Joel, Benji, Jenna and Rachel.
“nope either means she’s killed him and looking for somewhere to hide the body or they're up to no good.” Max said.
“I think you should go check max.” AJ grinned.
“not a chance I don't want to be catching them at it or becoming an accessory to murder.” Max laughed.
“haven't you got to go do a check on the horse’s anyway?” Seraya laughed.
“No Jenna can do that whilst she's over there.” Max insisted.
“but like you say she might be otherwise engaged.” Paul laughed.
“well if your so worried why don't you guys go check on your band mate.” Max joked back.
“nah it’s ok we'll take the risk we’ve still got the other twin over there.” Dean brushed off joking.
“providing Rachel’s not kicked his ass.” Billy laughed.
“speaking the devil.” Erin said looking up noticed Jenna and Benji walked back over.
“... and she shall appear.” Jenna finished off with a laugh as she and Benji sat down with them.
“and that she Is.” Max laughed Jenna short him a glare jokingly.
“we wasn’t sure if you’d killed him or if you was up to no good but you’ve just answered our question.” AJ laughed.
“what’s to say we was doing either.” Benji faked shock.
“we knew you as teenagers and know you now well enough to know nothing’s changed.” Billy said.
“and what’s that supposed to mean?” Jenna said but couldn’t help but laugh knowing exactly what they meant.
“Well basically no matter how much you two think you hide it you can’t keep your hands off each other couldn’t then still can't now.” Paul said smugly. Jenna and Benji just looked at each other and smirked with a laugh knowing there was no point in trying to deny it.
“so tell me you at least got the horses done too.” Max asked knowing the answer already but always being hopeful.
“nope.” Jenna said trying to act sweet and innocent.
“bit it’s ok I’ll go sort them in a minute.” Jenna added quickly before he could complain.
“good so you should it’s supposed to be my day off.” Max said acting grumpy but everyone knew he was joking.
“er less of that if Jenna needs your help you go and bloody well help her.” Jackie played along scolding as if a parent to a child max with another slap on his shoulder.
“thanks Jackie.” Jenna laughed smugly.
“oh my god was she always such a bitch.” Max laughed looking to Billy, Paul and Benji.
“yes.” Paul laughed.
“well it saved your asses enough didn’t it.” Jenna smirked to Paul.
“that it did.” Benji nodded.
“yeh that sarcastic wit and pure inner bitch served us well.” Paul laughed.
“I’ll take that as a compliment.” Jenna nodded acceptingly with a laugh.
“sarcastic witty bitch with a heart of gold sounds like out Jenna.” Seraya laughed.
“on that note I’m going to take my sarcastic ass over to do the horses.” Jenna smiled getting up.
“want me to come with.” Benji asked.
“it’s ok I wont be long.” Jenna said leaning over giving him a quick kiss. “don't worry max you stay there.” Jenna called back to max jokingly.
“will do wasn’t planning to come anyway.” Max laughed.
“Ok so now we've got rid of Jenna and we're all here, what are we going to do for Jenna's birthday next week?” Seraya asked excitedly.
“oh no you don't, don’t go planning no parties or big surprises you know she'll kick your ass for it followed by the rest of us.” Max warned knowing Jenna hated surprises and making a big deal out of her birthday.
“aw max don’t be such a spoil sport.” Brad laughed.
“no I’m serious she'll hate it.” Max said honestly.
“she's got to celebrate.” Seraya said. “Benji?” She looked at him for back up.
“wow don't pull ranks on the boyfriend against me.” Max laughed holding his hands up.
“I’m afraid I agree with max on this one. Jenna always hated making a big deal out of birthdays and stuff.” Benji said much to everyone bar max’s disappointment.
“yes brother.” Max laughed triumphantly high fiving Benji.
“honestly guy's she'll be happy just going for a few drink with us all.” Max said seriously getting disappointed looks off most of them.
“true and it is Jenna's birthday after all so what she wants goes.” AJ said.

Jenna as just finishing the horses when she heard a noise in the shadows she jumped briefly then noticed it was Joel.
“shit Joel you nearly gave me a heart attack.” She laughed holding her chest.
“I’m sorry.” He laughed.
“don’t worry about it. What brings you over here?” She asked looking at him confused.
“I just wanted to talk, I wanted to apologise for Rachel.” Joel said sheepishly.
“well I’m sorry Joel but apology not accepted. An apology needs to come from her to mean anything.” Jenna said.
“fair point.” Joel nodded. “but I am sorry about the way she handles things and how that affects you.” Joel said sincerely. Jenna put down the bucket she had topping up waters as she was finished she sat on the hay bale and Joel followed suit.
“thanks Joel.” Jenna smiled looking down as they sat side by side on the hay bale.
“I am genuinely happy for you and Benji I really am. I know I gave you a bit of a hard time at the start whilst Mia was around that I am sorry for but I can see how perfect you and Benji are together, you two have something really special always have done.” Joel said with a smile making Jenna smile.
“well we try.” Jenna shrugged modestly.
“it’s true you guys always just clicked. You are so good for him, you always where. Especially when we where kids. You helped him, you helped all of us get through some really tough times but especially Benji.” Joel said reminiscing about old times.
“it was defiantly mutual I know the only thing getting get through most days was the support from you guys too.” Jenna smiled.
“we spoke to mum the other day and she was so happy when he said you guys where together it was like birthdays and Christmases come all at once for her. She said she was so happy you was back looking out for her boys again.” Joel laughed mimicking his mother’s voice causing Jenna to laugh.
“Ah bless her how is she?” Jenna smiled.
“she's good even better now she can't wait to see you again.” Joel said.
“aw it'll be good to see your mom again too.” Jenna smiled. They chatted for a while longer about old time enjoying being close friends again like they used to be but had gotten a bit lost with Rachel around lately.
“Is that the time? I'll have to get going Rachel will wonder where I am.” Joel said looking at his watch then looking at Jenna apologetically.
“no worries to be honest I did tell Benji and every one that I wouldn't be long.” Jenna laughed.
“they’ll be sending out a search party.” Joel laughed.
“well clearly their not that worried about me yet.” Jenna laughed.
“thanks Jenna I’ve really enjoyed catching up with you...” Joel smiled sincerely.
“like old times.” Jenna smiled finishing his sentence.
“yes we need to make time to do it more often.” Joel said giving her a hug.
“any time.” Jenna smiled as they realised the hug, Joel going back to the good Charlotte bus and Jenna back over to the RVs.
“oh well hello we were about to send out the search party.” Max laughed.
“sorry I was talking to Joel.” Jenna said sitting next to Benji again.
“we guessed.” Seraya said Jenna looked confused to how they would know.
“Rachel came over looking for Joel we just put 2 and 2 together.” Benji filled her in. Jenna nodded.
“ I bet she was happy about that.” Jenna said sarcastically under her breath.
“so erm Jenna we was all just saying three a new club opening not far from her next week its meant it be really good we thought we could all go for a night out, do you fancy it?” seraya asked trying to act innocent to disguise that she was really after organising a birthday party night out for her.
“yeh I suppose we could check it out.” Jenna shrugged putting on her poker face as if she didn’t realise what seraya really meant but max caught Benji eye giving each other a knowing look that they knew Jenna knew what they was up to. They all hung out and chatted a little while longer.
