1 word... SWEEEEET!
great take on animagi ;)Author's response
Glad you liked it. I really wanted a differnt take on both cursebreaking and being an animagus. I think it is coming along nicely. Now if I could just get those pesky chapters to write themselves .... JimBungle in the Jungle: A Harry Potter Adventure

That was certainly one of the better Animagus rituals I've seen. Way too many have the character just changing into the animal and being immediately in control and comfortable with it.
Jaguar is an interesting choice for an animal for Harry... it seems very fitting to me.
Nice chapter. This is definetely one of my favourite stories at the moment.Author's response
I know. The usual, take a potion, sketch the creature, now practice partial transformation, then take another potion......
It gets really old after awhile. I wanted something really different, where instant control is not the end result. Thanks for the kind words ~JimBungle in the Jungle: A Harry Potter Adventure

Your take on the animagus transformation was great. If I ever choose to make Harry and animagus in one of my stories, which I probably will at some point, this will be my basis of comparison.
I think it'd be pretty great if Harry sent his story into Rita Skeeter, or just had Luna do it for him.Author's response
I am glad you enjoyed my take on becoming an animagus. I hope to raise the bar for the next schmuck who tries to write an animagus version of Harry. ~JimBungle in the Jungle: A Harry Potter Adventure

great chapter. your take on 'animagus transformation rituals' is one of the more believable ones out there. and you should have let harry boink somebody, not necessarily knock up but atleast a quick wham bam, thank you maam.
Update soon.Author's response
Well Harry is running into a problem where he is learning that casual sex without any attachments is seldom as casual and without attachments as one would like to think. He is on his way to becoming the person we glimpsed in chapter 1. ~JimBungle in the Jungle: A Harry Potter Adventure

Excellent chapter. I like how you avoid "superharry" syndrome by making things actually...difficult! :)Bungle in the Jungle: A Harry Potter Adventure

Exactly! That's how a human-to-animal transformation is supposed to work - painful, and a real stretch of the mental abilities to maintain personality/sentience while transformed. I agree that way too many fanfics give Harry powers in a checklist fashion. (Unfortunately, I think I may be guilty of this sin.)
A jaguar, eh? And yet another prophecy to boot! Harry can't catch a break, can he?
I like the young teen angst/sex thing. I especially liked how Harry handled the situation with Lauren, and the reconciliation of Lauren and Thundercloud. Those are the kind of scenes that keep me reading.
Will we get to see how the b*tches and a&&wipes at Hogwarts are doing in Harry's absence? Damn Weasley females! And that Bookworm from Hell! How could Remus allow James' son to be brainwashed and used? How can Tonks (an Auror) and Moody (an ex-Auror ) justify those actions? Or is there strife in the Order of the Peacock?
