Atlanta rolled onto her side and her eyes opened slowly, she rubbed her eyes and as her eyes slowly adjusted to the dark, she was able to see the silhouette of Jay on the floor. Jay and Archie had traded places since the day that both Jay and Atlanta had forfeit in the wrestling. It suit Atlanta fine, she didn't want to see Archie any more than humanly possible. She kept thinking about Archie's smile, she even dreamt about it.
She didn't realize this though; since she had begun to think about Archie more often, the nightmares about the Infinidad Amazonas had occurred less and less.
Atlanta threw off her covers and sat up, stretching with a yawn. She still felt those blasted bandages on her side and finally decided to rip them off. She stood up and lightly stepped over Jay's sleeping body. She quickly slid her door open and when alone on the passage, she sighed at the thought of having time alone. She made her way downstairs and to the kitchen. The kitchen shone ominously in the light of the setting moon and this played to Atlanta's advantage. She opened the fridge and got the milk. She then grabbed a cup and poured it full of frothy milk. She took a sip and like a naughty girl dashed up to the roof, to be alone, to drink her milk in peace.
She stepped out onto the roof and closed her eyes as a gentle early morning breeze slipped by leaving the hairs on the nape of her neck prickling.
"Relax Atlanta... you have been alone before..." Atlanta muttered to herself as she sat down and looked at the moon. She leant back on the chair and held the arms tightly.
"I wish Archie was here..." she said to herself and then jerked upright and felt her forehead. She couldn't believe she even said that out loud, she grabbed the glass of milk and put it to her lips. She started off slowly, the words still tasting sweet in her mouth, till eventually she raced to empty the glass and have only the taste of milk in her mouth. She slammed the glass down with a clinking noise and rushed to the railings to hang her head over the building.
"I am not... in love with Archie... I am not in love with Archie... I AM NOT IN LOVE WITH ARCHIE! I CAN'T BE!" Atlanta shouted out to the world, her voice echoed through the silence and it reverberated in her own soul. Birds sprang out of trees and flew away in their flocks at the fright Atlanta had given them, dogs began to howl and yet no lights turned on in any houses.

Below on the ground level of the Brownstone, eyes glimmered in the bushes like those of wild cats' in the night. They watched as the outline of a girl dashed to the edge of the building they were watching, they heard her scream and they watched her.
Mutters could be heard amongst the eyes and unless you were skilled in the dying language of the Amazons, you wouldn't be able to understand their harsh sounding syllables of approval and agreement.
One figure stood off her haunches and took the pearly dagger from her mouth. She emitted a sharp hissing noise and the rest followed murmuring the same line over and over again, in a hypnotic state.
The figure raised her hand in a multitude of swirling movements she then kept her index finger pointed and craned her neck back, revealing the front of her neck very clearly. She finally put her index finger by her chin and slowly ran it down her neck. It was like she had lit a match and threw it into gasoline. Red pigment suddenly rushed to the surface of her skin and etched the sign, their sign... their mark on history. The mark of the Infinidad Amazonas became very clear on the figure's body as she stepped out of the bushes, her eyes still on the roof.

Atlanta's side suddenly seared with pain, it hit her like a wrecking ball and she dropped to the floor gasping for air. She winced and pulled up her loose white sleeping top. She choked back tears as she craned her neck to see a peculiar bruise on her side. She saw nothing odd about it and pulled her shirt back down. She got up onto her feet and dusted her sleep shorts off. She had come to the conclusion that being alone during this time wasn't a good thing, so she turned tail to go inside.
She walked to the door and attempted to push the door open but it stayed closed. She frowned and then turned the door handle again.
She lost the frown and looked more nervous: "Hah ha, funny guys... I've learnt my lesson. You can open the door now. I'll always have someone with me wherever I go now... promise."
She put her ear to the door to see if she could hear her friends' whispers but she heard nothing at all. She chuckled nervously and tried to open the door once again, she then thought that she was maybe meant to pull the door open... it didn't work.
"Long live Atlanta, after she's dead... Long live Atlanta, after she's dead... Long live Atlanta, after she's dead..."
Atlanta had screamed a few times in her life, usually when being chased down by monsters or when she was mad at someone. She knew how to scream and she knew how she sounded when doing so. But she had never shrieked in terror, she was never afraid enough to need to. Neil shrieked, not Atlanta. Tonight was different, Atlanta heard the voices and she could tell the difference between them being in her head and them being said by someone... this time... someone was saying it, Atlanta shrieked and began to slam her fist on the door and tug at the handle.
"Help me! Please! Help me!" Atlanta said in sheer terror and kept glancing behind her.
"Now... Don't fight us child... there is only one way to be rid of us..."
"... Once and for all..."
"Don't you listen..."
"Long live Atlanta, AFTER she's dead..."
Atlanta spun around and stood flat against the door on her toes. She looked at the figures standing on the railings of the roof and even more heads appeared over the side of the house. Atlanta's hand automatically went to her shorts pocket to grab her bolas, she felt around but felt her regret at not taking the rules that had been imposed on the teens too seriously. Not so stupid anymore rule number three: Always keep a weapon on you, no matter if you are sleeping or just going for a run... have one on you at all times.
Atlanta's eyes burned with tears she refused to let the Infinidad Amazonas see. She just kept tapping the door, as she stood plastered against it, hoping... praying that someone would hear.
"How did you find me?" Atlanta said with as much ferocity as she could muster, she shut her eyes at the sound of her voice... she sounded terrified.
One of the women stepped off the railings and onto the roof top balcony. She slowly advanced on Atlanta and Atlanta began to try and push her body against the door to force it down. The woman stood in front of Atlanta with a wicked grin plastered sharply on her face. Atlanta could see a light scar running across the woman's face in the shape an 'x' and she noticed how she had some of her left ear cut off. Atlanta shuddered in distaste at how she looked and then the woman glowered jaggedly and before Atlanta could react, the woman grabbed her by the wrist with a strength double that of Herry's. Atlanta gasped as she felt all blood to her hand stop and the woman pull her forward. She lifted up her nightshirt and showed Atlanta the bruise once again.
"It's a bruise..." Atlanta said, attempting sarcasm in the face of death.
The woman spun Atlanta around again and looked at her in the eyes: "Do you really think so child? Look again..."
Atlanta looked at her bruise again and then she watched the woman run her index finger down her neck. Atlanta's side felt like it was being jabbed by a hot poker and the Amazon held her standing. Atlanta watched her side as the bruise became darker and swirled into place. Atlanta didn't dare gasp, as she saw that that monster that gave her this battering left the sign of the Amazonas on her as a bruise.
"Broken infinity, broken eternity..." the woman whispered in her ear and Atlanta yelped, finally letting tears spill over her cheeks.
"Colusa! Enough playing about! We must kill her now!" snapped a voice from behind the Amazon, who Atlanta now knew was Colusa.
Atlanta tried to pull loose, she struggled erratically and you could now hear her cry. It was all in vain, Colusa held her too tight and in such a way that most of her movement was encumbered.
Colusa turned her around and Atlanta felt her faith in all things good falter, the Amazonas had cleared away everything. The table and chairs and umbrellas were all gone and there was only a surface on the balcony.
Out of nowhere, like a cloud of smoke... Penthesileia appeared, this time with a large feather headdress and a black deer skin cloak over her shoulders. All the Amazonas went on their knees, including Colusa who ripped Atlanta down to the ground to her knees.
Penthesileia looked at the child in Colusa's grasp and cackled distinctly. She then put her hand on Colusa's head and closed her eyes: "You have done me well Sister, rise and know I promise to reward you..."
Colusa rose and pulled Atlanta to her feet. Penthesileia took Atlanta by the chin and held her head up to meet her gaze. Atlanta's face was wet and tear streaked, her breath quivering and she gulped at the touch of the Queen of the Infinidad Amazonas' hand.
After a while Penthesileia let go of Atlanta's chin and slapped her across the face: "That is for your useless mentor and Goddess of the Hunt!"
Atlanta didn't care anymore; she was going to die tonight on the stone table that was in the centre of the last rays of the moon. She had finally lost control of all of her emotions and just cried.
"Put this sorry excuse for a female on the sacrificial stone!" Penthesileia snapped and Colusa immediately obeyed and threw her onto the stone. Atlanta didn't feel anything; she was draining all her spirit out in her tears before they got to her... before the killed her.
"You aren't going anywhere Atlanta! Understand? I'm here..."
Atlanta remembered those words of Archie from their first real encounter when saving Herry. She thought of Archie sleeping peacefully on the floor of Theresa's room just a level below her.
Penthesileia pulled out two different daggers from those Atlanta had seen usually, they were bronze and there were jewels encased in the blades and on the handles. They glinted ruby red... blood red... in the light of the moon. Four Amazonas suddenly each grabbed an arm or a leg and held Atlanta down. Penthesileia moved to the head of the stone and looked down at Atlanta with the daggers raised: "May death be sweet..."
Atlanta shut her eyes tightly and then shouted her final words: "I LOVE YOU ARCHIE! DARN IT! YOU IDIOT!"
Atlanta didn't know what happened to time but after those words... it stopped in her mind and suddenly it all tumbled back to her as she felt something cold plunge into her shoulder, a whistling noise that thudded by her ear and shrieking.
"Get her! Get her! Get her! Get that useless Goddess and her sibling!"
Atlanta's eyes opened wide and her heart skipped a beat: "I'm... I'm... alive?"
Atlanta tried to turn to see what was happening but she felt coldness by her shoulder and turned her head slightly to see the one dagger lodged in her shoulder. Her first instinctive thought was that she had to see if she could move that arm. She managed to lift it up but in doing so, she made the dagger dig deeper into her flesh. She took a deep breath and suddenly regained some of her hope for something better. She grasped the bronze dagger firmly and shut her eyes.
"On three... one... two... ... THREE!" Atlanta shouted and pulled the dagger out her shoulder with determined forcibility. It felt like she was slicing through meat but she breathed a sigh of relief as she realized she was now armed. She sat up and saw all the Amazonas were looking away from her and Atlanta discretely turned onto her stomach... her eyes grew wide as she saw a flaming chariot and in it stood her mentor Artemis with her brother Apollo. Both equipped with crossbows aimed at the crowd of Amazonas. Atlanta grimaced as she felt her shoulder and saw her own blood surfacing out of her body. She then slid off the stone table and crouched behind it. From lower down, she got a view that made her turned white. There was a hand on the floor, flailing about madly like a fish. Atlanta gasped as she then realized it was the hand that held the dagger that was lodged into her shoulder. It was Penthesileia's hand! Atlanta had the urge to keel over and be sick but she was still frightened but at least clutching a dagger.
"Give it up Penthesileia!" boomed Apollo's voice as he shot another arrow and as it his it's mark; the victim disappeared in a howl.
"Never! Curse you!" howled the deranged woman and still held the other dagger tightly. She pointed towards the chariot and suddenly all the Amazonas began to charge forward.
Atlanta jumped up and with the dagger in her hand. She charged at the crowds, charged with a sudden crazed adrenaline. She sliced through the crowd, when she attacked though... they didn't disappear... they fell to the floor... dead...
Artemis saw this and she followed suit by setting her arrows alight and shooting them: "Atlanta! Run! We have it covered!"
Atlanta didn't know what had overcome her till she saw the familiar pearly white jagged tooth dagger rammed into her should at a different angle this time. Atlanta stopped and dropped like a stone... in tears.

"I LOVE YOU ARCHIE! DARN IT! YOU IDIOT!"
Archie sat up with a gasp; he wiped his perspiring forehead and looked down at the floor. He couldn't shake this slow peculiar feeling that had crept over him. He looked at Theresa, who slept with one hand under her pillow... holding her numchucks. He then bit his lip as he slowly snuck out of her room and closed the door behind him. He looked at Atlanta's bedroom door and sighed, Atlanta had never truly told him what had happened that day she freaked out and their friendship had gone under strain.
He stood motionless for a while and then heard loud noises from the roof. He frowned and then walked to his empty room to fetch his Hephestus Whip. He slipped it in his pocket and then stood at the base of the steps up to the roof.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Atlanta phased in and out of conscious thought. She saw Artemis and Apollo bravely fight off the Amazonas till it seemed they eventually gave up and fled the scene. Artemis hopped off the chariot to her charge's side and together they pulled out the dagger that was more recently lodged in her shoulder. Atlanta gasped as it sliced its way out of her. Artemis helped Atlanta up and opened the door.
"Go inside and get help... Apollo and I need to finish the chariot's course now," Artemis ordered sternly as Atlanta, with both daggers in her hand nodded and went inside one step at a time.
Atlanta's footsteps were heavy, her mind was still in shock and fear still controlled her every thought. She reached the base of the steps and just stood there.
Archie heard the footsteps and popped his head out of his room to see Atlanta shaking uncontrollably. He switched on the passage light and looked on in horror at the state of Atlanta. Her clothes were torn; her skin was drained of color except for the dirt smears and the ever-growing blot of red by her right shoulder. Her face looked moist and her chest was heaving as she breathed heavily. In her hands were daggers, stained red with blood.
"Atlanta?" Archie called and stepped out of his room.
Don't touch me now
Don't hold me now
Don't break this spell darling
Now you are near
Look in my eyes and speak to me
The special promises I long to hear
Atlanta looked at her friend with watery eyes and hiccupped back more tears. She broke into a run and with every forward motion of her right arm, her shoulder scorched with blood and more pain. She reached Archie and swung her arms around his neck. She buried her face in his shoulder and held him tightly.
Las palabras de amor
Let me hear the words of love
Despacito mi amor
Love me slow and gently
Archie wanted to pinch himself, he wanted to know why she was in the state she was but he didn't ask anything. He just slowly put his arms around her and patted her head: "You're okay. I'm here..."
Atlanta broke down in Archie's arms and then she spoke, her words muffled in his neck: "Thanks Arch..."
One foolish world so many souls
Senselessly hurled through
The never-ending cold
And all for fear and all for greed
Speak any tongue
But for God's sake we need
Archie stepped back and lead her to his room, he sat her down on his bed and then gave her the most serious look of his life: "What happened Atlanta? Who did this to you?"
Atlanta looked at Archie with the haziest set of eyes he had ever seen, her normally bright eyes were clouded by dark memories: "It was them, the Infinidad Amazonas... They, they put me on a stone table and Penthesileia... she had two of these and she was going to kill... kill me... I've never been so afraid in my life Archie."
Archie felt a vicious beast roar in the pit of his stomach as he heard what had happened to Atlanta, he sat and looked at Atlanta and then she pulled up her tattered top and Archie looked away out of politeness, he felt her hand on his arm and he looked back to see the scar that was left on her side: "The sign..."
Atlanta nodded and wiped her eyes with the back of her hand: "I've been my own tracking system... since day one..."
Las palabras de amor
Let me hear the words of love
Despacito mi amor
Let me know this night and evermore
Archie sat with his mouth open to say something but couldn't; instead, he walked to his closet drawer and pulled out one of his sweat shirts and handed it to Atlanta. She looked at it and then at her shoulder: "I don't want to spoil your clothes."
Archie shook his head and sat next to Atlanta again and looked at the floor: "I was woken up by someone yelling something and calling me an idiot... umm..."
"Atlanta! Why did you leave the room without letting me know! And Archie! Why aren't you with Theresa!"
Archie looked up to see an angry Jay standing at the door and glaring at the two. Archie got up defensively and walked up to Jay: "Atlanta got attacked by the Infinidad Amazonas on the roof... our roof!"
Jay looked over Archie's shoulder and then pushed past him to Atlanta's side, she hung her head in shame: "I'm sorry I should have took more notice of the rules... I thought... I thought they were stupid..."
Jay was normally protective over all his friends but he did something very out of character, he hugged Atlanta: "I'm glad you are okay..." He suddenly jumped off her and looked at both Atlanta and Archie, he then dashed out the room and stopped at the door, "I... I'll take over in... I'll take over in Theresa's room..."
Neither Archie nor Atlanta replied, they just looked at Jay funny as he pulled his stuff into Theresa's room and slid the door shut.
This room is bare
This night is cold
We're far apart and I'm growing old
But while we live
We'll meet again
So then my love
We may whisper once more
It's you I adore
Atlanta then stood up and Archie looked at her with such admiration for her courage and her survival. Atlanta looked back at him: "Archie?"
"Umm... yeah?" Archie said as he looked away casually.
"Would you mind fetching me bandages?" Atlanta squeaked and then bit her tongue and blushed awkwardly, hoping he wouldn't see.
Archie did see her turn scarlet and he scuffed his foot on the ground and swayed on the spot: "Bandages?"
Atlanta chuckled and forced a cheeky grin, she playfully shoved him and shook her head: "Yeah you idiot... My shoulder is bust and I kind of need bandages to put on it to stop it from bleeding..."
Archie felt like an idiot and grinned to hide it: "I've got some here... somewhere... Where? Oh! Here they are..." He said as he rummaged through his organized mess.
Las palabras de amor
Let me hear the words of love
Despacito mi amor
Touch me now
Las palabras de amor
Let us share the words of love
For evermore evermore
Moments later, Archie was helping patch up his friend and they were chuckling quietly to fill the void of sudden awkwardness. Once it was all packed away, Archie sat back next to Atlanta who was looking at the photo of the two of them that he kept on his bedside table.
"You should try get some sleep..." Archie said as shifted in his seat.
Atlanta shook her head and put her head on his shoulder, her eyelids heavy but she refused to go to sleep, she was afraid she'd see it all again. She shifted closer to Archie and it was now his turn to blush.
"Lets just sit here..." Atlanta murmured and shut her eyes.
For evermore
"Get her! Get her! Get her! Get that useless Goddess and her sibling!"
Atlanta's eyes opened wide and her heart skipped a beat: "I'm... I'm... alive?"
Atlanta tried to turn to see what was happening but she felt coldness by her shoulder and turned her head slightly to see the one dagger lodged in her shoulder. Her first instinctive thought was that she had to see if she could move that arm. She managed to lift it up but in doing so, she made the dagger dig deeper into her flesh. She took a deep breath and suddenly regained some of her hope for something better. She grasped the bronze dagger firmly and shut her eyes.
"On three... one... two... ... THREE!" Atlanta shouted and pulled the dagger out her shoulder with determined forcibility. It felt like she was slicing through meat but she breathed a sigh of relief as she realized she was now armed. She sat up and saw all the Amazonas were looking away from her and Atlanta discretely turned onto her stomach... her eyes grew wide as she saw a flaming chariot and in it stood her mentor Artemis with her brother Apollo. Both equipped with crossbows aimed at the crowd of Amazonas. Atlanta grimaced as she felt her shoulder and saw her own blood surfacing out of her body. She then slid off the stone table and crouched behind it. From lower down, she got a view that made her turned white. There was a hand on the floor, flailing about madly like a fish. Atlanta gasped as she then realized it was the hand that held the dagger that was lodged into her shoulder. It was Penthesileia's hand! Atlanta had the urge to keel over and be sick but she was still frightened but at least clutching a dagger.
"Give it up Penthesileia!" boomed Apollo's voice as he shot another arrow and as it his it's mark; the victim disappeared in a howl.
"Never! Curse you!" howled the deranged woman and still held the other dagger tightly. She pointed towards the chariot and suddenly all the Amazonas began to charge forward.
Atlanta jumped up and with the dagger in her hand. She charged at the crowds, charged with a sudden crazed adrenaline. She sliced through the crowd, when she attacked though... they didn't disappear... they fell to the floor... dead...
Artemis saw this and she followed suit by setting her arrows alight and shooting them: "Atlanta! Run! We have it covered!"
Atlanta didn't know what had overcome her till she saw the familiar pearly white jagged tooth dagger rammed into her should at a different angle this time. Atlanta stopped and dropped like a stone... in tears.
"I LOVE YOU ARCHIE! DARN IT! YOU IDIOT!"
Archie sat up with a gasp; he wiped his perspiring forehead and looked down at the floor. He couldn't shake this slow peculiar feeling that had crept over him. He looked at Theresa, who slept with one hand under her pillow... holding her numchucks. He then bit his lip as he slowly snuck out of her room and closed the door behind him. He looked at Atlanta's bedroom door and sighed, Atlanta had never truly told him what had happened that day she freaked out and their friendship had gone under strain.
He stood motionless for a while and then heard loud noises from the roof. He frowned and then walked to his empty room to fetch his Hephestus Whip. He slipped it in his pocket and then stood at the base of the steps up to the roof.
Atlanta phased in and out of conscious thought. She saw Artemis and Apollo bravely fight off the Amazonas till it seemed they eventually gave up and fled the scene. Artemis hopped off the chariot to her charge's side and together they pulled out the dagger that was more recently lodged in her shoulder. Atlanta gasped as it sliced its way out of her. Artemis helped Atlanta up and opened the door.
"Go inside and get help... Apollo and I need to finish the chariot's course now," Artemis ordered sternly as Atlanta, with both daggers in her hand nodded and went inside one step at a time.
Atlanta's footsteps were heavy, her mind was still in shock and fear still controlled her every thought. She reached the base of the steps and just stood there.
Archie heard the footsteps and popped his head out of his room to see Atlanta shaking uncontrollably. He switched on the passage light and looked on in horror at the state of Atlanta. Her clothes were torn; her skin was drained of color except for the dirt smears and the ever-growing blot of red by her right shoulder. Her face looked moist and her chest was heaving as she breathed heavily. In her hands were daggers, stained red with blood.
"Atlanta?" Archie called and stepped out of his room.
Don't touch me now
Don't hold me now
Don't break this spell darling
Now you are near
Look in my eyes and speak to me
The special promises I long to hear
Atlanta looked at her friend with watery eyes and hiccupped back more tears. She broke into a run and with every forward motion of her right arm, her shoulder scorched with blood and more pain. She reached Archie and swung her arms around his neck. She buried her face in his shoulder and held him tightly.
Las palabras de amor
Let me hear the words of love
Despacito mi amor
Love me slow and gently
Archie wanted to pinch himself, he wanted to know why she was in the state she was but he didn't ask anything. He just slowly put his arms around her and patted her head: "You're okay. I'm here..."
Atlanta broke down in Archie's arms and then she spoke, her words muffled in his neck: "Thanks Arch..."
One foolish world so many souls
Senselessly hurled through
The never-ending cold
And all for fear and all for greed
Speak any tongue
But for God's sake we need
Archie stepped back and lead her to his room, he sat her down on his bed and then gave her the most serious look of his life: "What happened Atlanta? Who did this to you?"
Atlanta looked at Archie with the haziest set of eyes he had ever seen, her normally bright eyes were clouded by dark memories: "It was them, the Infinidad Amazonas... They, they put me on a stone table and Penthesileia... she had two of these and she was going to kill... kill me... I've never been so afraid in my life Archie."
Archie felt a vicious beast roar in the pit of his stomach as he heard what had happened to Atlanta, he sat and looked at Atlanta and then she pulled up her tattered top and Archie looked away out of politeness, he felt her hand on his arm and he looked back to see the scar that was left on her side: "The sign..."
Atlanta nodded and wiped her eyes with the back of her hand: "I've been my own tracking system... since day one..."
Las palabras de amor
Let me hear the words of love
Despacito mi amor
Let me know this night and evermore
Archie sat with his mouth open to say something but couldn't; instead, he walked to his closet drawer and pulled out one of his sweat shirts and handed it to Atlanta. She looked at it and then at her shoulder: "I don't want to spoil your clothes."
Archie shook his head and sat next to Atlanta again and looked at the floor: "I was woken up by someone yelling something and calling me an idiot... umm..."
"Atlanta! Why did you leave the room without letting me know! And Archie! Why aren't you with Theresa!"
Archie looked up to see an angry Jay standing at the door and glaring at the two. Archie got up defensively and walked up to Jay: "Atlanta got attacked by the Infinidad Amazonas on the roof... our roof!"
Jay looked over Archie's shoulder and then pushed past him to Atlanta's side, she hung her head in shame: "I'm sorry I should have took more notice of the rules... I thought... I thought they were stupid..."
Jay was normally protective over all his friends but he did something very out of character, he hugged Atlanta: "I'm glad you are okay..." He suddenly jumped off her and looked at both Atlanta and Archie, he then dashed out the room and stopped at the door, "I... I'll take over in... I'll take over in Theresa's room..."
Neither Archie nor Atlanta replied, they just looked at Jay funny as he pulled his stuff into Theresa's room and slid the door shut.
This room is bare
This night is cold
We're far apart and I'm growing old
But while we live
We'll meet again
So then my love
We may whisper once more
It's you I adore
Atlanta then stood up and Archie looked at her with such admiration for her courage and her survival. Atlanta looked back at him: "Archie?"
"Umm... yeah?" Archie said as he looked away casually.
"Would you mind fetching me bandages?" Atlanta squeaked and then bit her tongue and blushed awkwardly, hoping he wouldn't see.
Archie did see her turn scarlet and he scuffed his foot on the ground and swayed on the spot: "Bandages?"
Atlanta chuckled and forced a cheeky grin, she playfully shoved him and shook her head: "Yeah you idiot... My shoulder is bust and I kind of need bandages to put on it to stop it from bleeding..."
Archie felt like an idiot and grinned to hide it: "I've got some here... somewhere... Where? Oh! Here they are..." He said as he rummaged through his organized mess.
Las palabras de amor
Let me hear the words of love
Despacito mi amor
Touch me now
Las palabras de amor
Let us share the words of love
For evermore evermore
Moments later, Archie was helping patch up his friend and they were chuckling quietly to fill the void of sudden awkwardness. Once it was all packed away, Archie sat back next to Atlanta who was looking at the photo of the two of them that he kept on his bedside table.
"You should try get some sleep..." Archie said as shifted in his seat.
Atlanta shook her head and put her head on his shoulder, her eyelids heavy but she refused to go to sleep, she was afraid she'd see it all again. She shifted closer to Archie and it was now his turn to blush.
"Lets just sit here..." Atlanta murmured and shut her eyes.
For evermore
