Sonic woke up far too early than he would've wanted to on a Saturday. Not only were his legs tingling, but his hands were too.

Sonic tried to pick up his phone, but dropped it. "Great." He muttered.

"Were you trying to get out of bed by yourself again?" Sally called from their bathroom.

"No. I dropped my stupid phone again." Sonic snapped.

"I'll get it for you in a minute." Sally said. "I know you're frustrated, but don't take it out on me."

"I'm sorry." Sonic replied. He settled back into bed. "You don't know how frustrated I am."

He couldn't even hold his phone, let alone his guitar, without feeling weak or his arms shaking. He barely left his room now unless Manic, Sally, or Tails begged him too.

Sonia often had a hard time seeing Sonic since he was extremely underweight now, but she still pushed herself to see him with Knuckles' emotional support.

Today, Sonic was fed up with being stuck in bed.

Sonic huffed. "Enough of this." He said under his breath. He tried to climb out of bed, but fell on the floor.

Sally rushed in as Manic came into the room.

"What're you doing?" Manic asked. "You can't walk."

"I had to go to the bathroom." Sonic said. "I drank a lot of water earlier and-"

Sally sighed. "You have a catheter," She said. "What were you really doing?"

Sonic sighed. "I'm bored." He replied. "I miss running."

Manic nodded. "We know you do."

Sally and Manic helped Sonic into his wheelchair.

"Uh, Sally?" Manic asked. "Can you give us a minute?"

Sally nodded. "I have to take a shower anyway." She replied. "Please call me if you need me."

"We will." Manic said.

Sally headed back to the bathroom.

Manic sat down on the bed across from Sonic. "Will you go to something formal one more time?"

"Why?" Sonic asked. "You know I don't like going out too much like this."

"I don't want to ask someone else to be my best man." Manic replied. "Jade and I want to go ahead and marry while you're still somewhat able."

Sonic nodded. "Okay. One last time."

Manic got up and hugged Sonic. "Thanks."

"Yeah, just make sure you have chili dogs at the reception." Sonic said.

Manic laughed. "All you can eat, bro."

"You know I could have another seizure during your wedding." Sonic said. "They're worse now."

"We don't mind." Manic replied. "If that bothers you, you don't have to do it. I'll understand."

"No, I'll do it." Sonic said. "Thanks for asking me."

"You're welcome." Manic replied.

Sonic rubbed his forehead. He felt awful, like he had another seizure.

He wasn't sure how long he was out. He knew he was at… some kind of event. He vaguely remembered hearing a crowd talking and nothing else.

Sonic finally looked up and noticed everyone was staring at him. "What happened?" He asked. He looked around at the strange room. "Where are we anyway?"

Sally sighed and eased closer to him. "You have to tell them now, Sonic." She said, putting her arms around him.

"I know he said his seizures were getting bad." Manic said. "I didn't think they were this bad."

"Tell them what?" Sonic asked.

"His memory isn't the best now." Sally said.

Sonic's arm spasmed.

"I don't think the supplements are helping anymore." Jade said.

Manic helped Sonic into his chair. "Come on, let's get you to your room."

Sonic noticed Manic, as well as everyone else, was all dressed up. "Today was your wedding, huh?"

"Yeah, you had a seizure as the reception was almost over." Manic said, getting behind the chair to push Sonic to the stairs. "You didn't ruin anything, bro. Don't worry about that."

Manic, along with Sally, finally got Sonic upstairs and helped Sonic into bed. "Thanks for coming, bro." He said. "It means a lot to me."

"Same here." Sonic replied.

Manic pulled the blankets over Sonic before leaving the room and closing the door behind him.

Sally sat down beside Sonic and stroked his spines.

Sonic sighed. "I don't even remember it."

Sally kissed Sonic's forehead.
