Sonia and Mindy arrived at the building.
An older pale purple hedgehog in a white and silver tunic and leggings floated over.
Mindy shook Sonia’s arm. “That’s Miyuki!” She squealed.
Sonia squealed and giggled. “I can’t believe we have a chance to work with her.”
Miyuki floated over to them and landed. “Miyu, Minami.” She said as her pale lavender started flickering it dark purple. “It’s nice to work with you, but there’s no need to fangirl over me.”
Miyuki’s fur finally settled into lavender and dark purple, revealing that Miyuki was really….
“Mother?” Sonia asked.
Sonia and Mindy deactivated their super forms.
Aleena sighed. “I know, it was hypocritical to say you couldn’t be a hero.” She replied. “I just wanted you safe. I couldn’t bear to lose another child and I wanted to honor Sonic’s memory.”
“I understand.” Sonia said, hugging Aleena. “I’m proud of you.”
“I guess I can’t be mad at you for doing what I’m doing.” Aleena replied. “Just be careful.”
“I hate to interrupt, but we need to stop Darkerina.” Mindy said. She pointed behind them. “Her army is on the way.”
Sonia, Mindy, and Aleena reactivated their super forms. The music started playing from the medallions.

Sonia kicked a Mobian porcupine out of the way. “Do we have to fight them?” She asked. “At least some of these poor citizens wouldn’t do this without being under hypnosis. Why isn’t the music working anyway?”
“It’s just until we can shut off the hypnosis track.” Mindy said, punching a Mobian ferret. “We’re just fighting, not killing. I guess we’re closer to the signal and it’s stronger than our medallions at the moment.”
Tails flew in and put headphones on Rouge and Knuckles.
Knuckles and Rouge stopped trying to fight.
“What am I doing here?” Knuckles asked.
“Someone named Darkerina sent out a hypnosis track.” Sonia replied. “Keep the headphones on, they’ll keep you safe.”
“Then she has the Master Emerald.” Knuckles said.
Sonia gasped.
“Knuckles and I will find the loudspeaker.” Tails said. “Rouge, I think Shadow will need you at GUN headquarters. Go help him, then meet us back here.”
Rouge nodded. She flew away.
Knuckles looked at Sonia, Aleena, and Mindy. “Start hovering now.”
Sonia, Aleena, and Mindy started hovering.
Knuckles punched the ground, sending the army flying.
“Thanks, Knux.” Sonia said, turning the music off. “See you inside.”
