A homeless man named Daniel Larson gets sent to the Magical world of My Little Pony
0Unrated
Authors Note: Hi, this is my first fanfic and it's not suposed to be really that serious but I tried to keep it literarily okay for the most part. Enjoy!
Far away from Equestria, in a completely different reality, a human rested in a dark alley. Little did he know that everything about his life would change on that very day.
The dark alley's concrete floor was cold and some of it was also wet. Mice and cockroaches took cover under piles of trash and empty boxes. In the middle of the dark alley, there were many dirty trash cans, and next to them was a flat piece of carboard, and on top of that piece of carboard was a homeless man that began to slowly open his eyes.
That homeless man was Daniel Larson, who had spent the entire night sleeping on top of that piece of cardboard. Daniel smelled like wet trash and used chinese panties, with disgusting stains all over his clothes as well. He wore a navy blue jacket over a white t-shit and was using long jeans and wearing a pair of old black shoes.
Suddenly, his cellphone began to ring. He picked it up from his pocket and saw that it was Bob Proctor, his caretaker who would occasionaly give him money, and who he had beaten up after the motel threatened to kill him.
"Hi Bob." Daniel greeted Bob after he accepted his call.
"Daniel, where are you? You have already ignored two of my calls and I was worried. People online are telling me you're hurting yourself because of Grace Vanderwaal." Bob said, worried about Daniel and his wellbeing.
"I just roke up... I don't have time for this, but im calling security, the managers that have already contacted me." Daniel replied.
"No, Daniel, you don't understand. Most of the things these folks on the internet tell you are false, they're lying to you." Bob declared before being interrupted by Daniel.
"But the fans are trying to help me so I can meet Grace soon. She told me she is going to leave me if I don't go and meet her and her, and I have gotten messages from the rest of the Vanderwaal family telling me to come." Daniel replied, believing in everything that people online had told him.
He and Bob then continued to argue with each other for a while until Daniel decided to end the phone call and then leave the dark alley. He made his way out of the dark alley and into the city's sidewalk, ready to leave that place and walk through the city as usual.
As he left the dark alley, the morning sun gracefully greeted his body, it's rays of light reaching Daniel's blue eyes and making him turn his head a bit down while his big nose made him stand out like a cartoon bird among the other citizens of Denver, Colorado.
"Man... I should go out and try to meet security." Daniel said to himself shortly before he moved and began to walk through the city.
Eventually, Daniel walked until he reached a low income area of Denver, one where abandoned buildings and other homeless people could be easily seen around every corner.
As he stood there, Daniel decided to check his phone again, trying to see if he could chat with who he believed to be Grace Vanderwaal, but just as he opened his message app his phone's battery died.
"Damn it, I shouldn't have left it on while I slept!" Daniel shouted to himself.
Then, just as he placed his phone back into his pocket, he looked up and saw a hooded figure in front of him.
"Daniel..." The hooded figure said, "I have something for you..."
"Are you security?" Daniel asked innocently.
"No, I am adventure!" The hooded stranger replied intently.
The hooded stranger then took out a shining and colorful stone from his pocket.
"This is a Rainbow Stone," The stranger said, holding the colorful stone in front of Daniel's eyes. "It can lead you to many places, so long as you are willing to face the consequences."
"Oh, that looks nice!" Daniel exclaimed. "Can you give it to me?"
"Of course, it's all yours now." The Stranger said as he handed the shining stone over to Daniel.
Daniel now held the stone in his hands and brought it closer to his eyes, trying to analyze the item more carefully. He then turned his attention back to the hooded figure that gave him the stone, but he was nowhere to be found. He looked around, trying to see where the hooded stranger had gone, but he was nowhere to be found.
"Did that guy just vanish?" Daniel asked himself before looking back at the colorful stone. "Well, at least I have this now, he said it will take me somewhere."
Daniel then continued to walk, eventually reaching the outskirts of Denver. He held the Rainbow Stone in his hands as he walked through the remote limits of the city.
Then, like a gentle and internal symphony, a voice began to slowly reveberate inside Daniel's mind.
"Daniel... throw the stone on the ground..." The voice first sounded like a whisper in his mind.
Then, as Daniel continued to walk, the voice in his head became louder, and it continued to tell him to throw the stone on the ground right below him.
Then, without even a second though in his little disturbed brain, Daniel stopped and complied with the commands of the voice. He threw the Rainbow Stone on the ground right below him.
Suddenly, as the rock hit the ground, a large snapping sound echoed over the area. The rock floated a few centimeters above the ground for a short moment right before the ground itself began to shake.
The very fabric of reality, right below Daniel, began to be ripped with a loud and distored sound coming from it.
"WHAT'S THIS?!" Daniel screeched in terror as he began to float right above the ground.
Below hiw, in the ripped ground, was a dark portal that had ripped itself onto the ground below him. He then stopped floating, and fell right into the portal.
He shouted as he fell into the darkness, falling out of reality itself and into the void. Images of ponies flashed quickly in his mind.
"HELP!!! SOMEONE!!! AHHHH" Daniel shouted as he continued to fall.
He then began to spin around, rays of light began appearing before him, with particles spinning around him.
