Daniel woke up, slowly opening his eyes. He had fainted earlier and had stayed unconscious for some time. He was still falling in the void, with shining light particles still surrounding him and spinning around him. Now, however, he himself was no longer spinning. He looked down into where he was falling, and he could see a big portal in the middle of the dark void, one that seemed to show the top of a forest on the other side. Daniel screamed again as he continued to fall quickly into the direction of the portal.

As he fell straight into the portal, he felt a flow of energy pass through him, and then he began to feel a stream of fresh air as he entered this new reality. He was now in the other side of the portal, in a completely new reality, and the portal closed behind him as he continued to fall, except this time he was falling in the air of this new reality and quickly heading to the forest below.

Daniel screamed even louder as he came closer to hitting the forest. Bracing for impact, he felt like this could be his end.

But then all of a sudden, just as he was about to hit the top of the forest trees and then fall down into the ground, he felt something quickly grabbing him by his jacket and pulling him into the skies again with great speed.

Whatever had grabbed him was extremely fast, pulling him back and saving him from hitting the ground in less than a second. As he was raised up and saved from that impact, he couldn't believe how quickly he was ascending back into the skies.

Daniel looked up and saw something that he had never seen before: a blue pony, that had beautiful wings and a rainbow coloured mane, was holding his jacket with it's mouth while flying at high speed.

The blue pegasus pony flapped it's wings and flew at an almost super sonic speed while carrying Daniel. He could not believe that this pony was flying, and he couldn't understand how it was so fast. The pegasus then began to slow down and flew closer to the surface, reaching an open field.

The blue pegasus began to slowly lower Daniel into the ground, his feet touching the grass as the blue pony flapped it's wings. The pegasus then left him standing upright in the field before flying again and then moving back and landing in front of him.

Daniel was in complete shock. He was shaking and hyper-ventilating, being barely able to process what had just happened to him. He tripped under his own wheight and almost fell down but managed to stand upright.

"What.... what... was..." He tried to form a sentence but he was still quite shocked with how fast that blue pegasus pony was, and how it managed to save him and raise him up into the skies to fast.

The blue pegasus pony, still standing in front of him, now spoke in a runny voice: "Hey, are you okay there?"

Listening to the pony speak only shocked Daniel even further, but by now he had managed to calm himself enough to speak properly.

"Where am I at?" Daniel asked, still shaking and looking around. "Who are you?"

"You're in Ponyville, and I am Rainbowdash, pleased to have saved you." She answered.

Daniel rubbed his eyes as he looked down in disbelief, he could not believe this little blue pony was speaking like a human.

"y-you really talk?" Daniel said in disbelief.

"Yeah, of course I do, why wouldn't I talk?" Rainbowdash replied before asking: "But hey, who even are you?"

"My name is Daniel Larson." He responed to her.

"hmm, you don't really seem to be from here," Rainbowdash commented as she flyed around him, moving around and checking him while analyzing his physical appearance. "you're not even a pony."

Then, just as Rainbowdash finished her sentence, a purple alicorn flew down and landed close to both of them.

It was Princess Twilight Sparkle.
