Sonia, Sonic, and Manic got their bags packed.
Manic slid his backpack over his shoulder. “So we’re gonna see each other more often, right?”
“Yeah, bro, that was the whole point of this trip.” Sonic said, adjusting his backpack straps. “Sal went through my accounts and unblocked you two. She said I was following you two now.”
“Awesome.” Manic said.
Sonia slid her purse on her shoulder. “Are we ready to go?”
“Yeah, I’ll take you two home.” Sonic said, walking his siblings out of the home.

Sonic made it back home after dropping his siblings off at their houses and seeing their kids for a few minutes.
Sally looked up as Sonic stepped over to the couch. “Hey, the kids will be home soon.” She said, hugging Sonic. “Dad said there was traffic.”
Sonic kissed Sally. “I missed you all.” He said, sitting down. “Sorry it took so long.”
“We missed you too.” Sally replied. “It’s okay, I knew you wanted to meet your nieces and nephew.”
“Yeah.” Sonic said. “Maria even acts like Shadow. Manic’s kids are like equal parts of him and Surge.”
Sally leaned against Sonic. “So how was the trip?”
“Awesome.” Sonic said. “It was almost like no time had passed. We had a great time.”
“That’s good.” Sally replied. “I’m glad. I missed seeing them.”
“Me too.” Sonic said.
