Manic’s tour had been going well and all but one emerald had been found.
Sonic and Sonia used their holograms to alter their appearances slightly to play in the band without the echidna recognizing them.
It was the last night on tour and the band was excited.
Manic hugged Surge. “This is it, Babe.” He said. “Then, we’ll go on a nice trip to Mobodoon. We’ll take the kids and Kit will babysit for the first week, then the kids will come along.”
Surge grinned. “I can’t wait.”
Sonic sighed. “I’m gonna miss traveling around Mobius.”
“Me too.” Sonia replied. “Maybe Mother will ease up on guard shifts when Shadow puts in the security system.”
Rouge stepped over. “Okay, kids, it’s showtime.”
Sonic and Sonia got their medallions ready.
“Whoa, don’t do the human disguises.” Manic said. “Not crazy about it.”
“Fine, we’ll do the emo ones.” Sonic replied.
Sonic and Sonia activated the medallions.
Manic nodded. “Much better.” He said. He leaned closer to Surge and kissed her.
“Break a leg, Cute stuff.” Surge said.
Manic nodded. He led Sonic and Sonia out to the stage.
The crowd cheered.
Manic smirked. “Tashistan, are you ready to rock?!”
The cheers grew louder as Sonic, Sonia, and Manic started playing.

Manic got out from behind the drums to sing the last song.
Sonia furrowed her brow as her disguise began flickering. “Is that the lights?” She thought. “Or….”
Manic’s voice cracked.
Manic’s eyes widened as he glanced at Sonic and Sonia.
Sonia shrugged.
The medallion quickly reactivated.
Manic finished the song and ended the concert. He led Sonic and Sonia backstage.
Surge hugged Manic. “Awesome job as always, cute stuff.”
“What happened?” Manic asked. “We lost power for a second.”
“Is that what that was?” Rouge asked. “I thought it was the lights and Sonic playing over you.”
“Me too.” Surge replied.
Manic ran his hand through his spines. “Oh, man… uh… we’ll be okay if this gets ruined, right?”
“You’ll be fine.” Rouge said. “We’ll figure out something.”
“I’ll fix the medallions.” Tails said. “The medallion might have lost connection with the Chaos drive.”
Manic, Sonic, and Sonia handed Tails the medallions.
“I fixed it, you shouldn’t lose power again.” Tails replied.
“At least the tour is over.” Surge said.
“Well, you do have a charity benefit at Mobodoon in three days.” Rouge said. “Then, your vacation begins.”
“I’ll have them fixed by then.” Tails replied.
Manic yawned. “A’ight, I’m exhausted.” He said. “See you all tomorrow.”
Everyone headed home.
