Title: Same Side of the Coin
Word Count: 100
Summary: Veeken briefly muses on Basil's persecution of her HJ team.
Disclaimer: Veeken belongs to me; Basil and Ratigan belong to Eve Titus and Disney; Drakken and Shego belong to Disney.
------------------------
Veeken wondered why Basil remained so stubbornly opposed to them. After all, they were technically both on the same sides, just fighting different foes - while they fought villains like Drakken and Shego, Basil dealt with the criminals of Mousetorian London.
But Basil insisted that they were secretly working for Ratigan, instead of visa versa. The idea of three teenaged girls befriending the World's Greatest Criminal Mind was, to him, preposterous. It was getting so aggravating, Ratigan was considering letting the detective try to handle Shego himself.
He'd learn or he'd suffer. Either way would drive the point home well.
