When I was younger, I always dreamed what it would be like to fall in love. Then I fell in love with Julius. Then, I wondered what it felt to be in love. Julius showed me. Sometimes I wonder if I was good enough for him. I always planned my dream wedding...and Julius gave it to me. I always dreamed of being a mother. And now, I'm about to be one.

It's not like you to say sorry, I was waiting on a different story
This time I'm mistaken for handing you a heart worth breaking
I've been wrong, I've been down, been to the bottom of every bottle
These five words in my head scream "are we havin' fun yet?"

"IT'S A GIRL!" Cried out the doctor in happiness.

I sighed with happiness. Julius held my hand, and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"You did it, honey," He whispered in my ear. "So I guess the name Kristina wins, huh?"

We both laughed. The doctor gave me my newborn child. She was wrapped in a pink blanket.

"Awww..." I cooed.

"She's so tiny!" Commented Julius.

Krissy was crying, so I held her into a hug, and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She soon stopped crying.

Krissy finally opened her eyes after crying. She amde baby noises, and look around into her new world. Julius just stood there, smiling above Krissy and me.

"She's beautiful. She looks like her mother," Julius said.

After a pause, Julius said, "Lucky me. Now I have two ladies in the house!"

I laughed. I then looked at Krissy. She had light, brunette hair just starting to grow that looked like mine, and had Julius' beautiful, stunning blue eyes. "Would you like to see Daddy?"

Julius held tightly and protectively his new born daughter. he gave her a kiss on the cheek. The doctor and nurses left Julius and me with our new family member. Julius sat on the side of the hospital bed I was laying in.

"I promise, Krissy," Julius whispered to Krissy. "I will always be there for you. Maybe your mother and my parents weren't always there for us, but we'll be here for you."

Krissy made baby noises in response.

Krissy let out a cute, baby yawn and fell asleep in her fathers arms. My husband carefully put her in a little cradle that the hospital had in the room. Wow. We were parents. Actual parents.

We were now a family. I now had a family where I belonged and was loved.
