JULIUS' POINT OF VIEW:
______________________________________________________________
I woke up in a dream today
To the cold of the static and put my cold feet on the floor
Forgot all about yesterday
Remembering I'm pretending to be where I'm not anymore
A little taste of hypocrisy
And I'm left in the wake of the mistake slow to react
Even though you're so close to me
You're still so distant
And I can't bring you back
___________________________________________________________
Delilah and me were just sitting in our bedroom, just on the bed. She was laying in my arms. The baby was due very soon. Two weeks, to be exact. Delilah now was pretty big, was she was still just a beautiful.
____________________________________________________________
It's true the way I feel
Was promised by your face
The sound of your voice
Painted on my memories
Even if you're not with me
I'm with you

"Man, I still can't get over the fact we're going to be parents." I told my wife.
"Yeah, me too. I can't wait." She cried out with excitement.
"What do you want to name the baby?"
"I don't know." She saind in wonder. "They told me they know what gender it is, but I told them not to tell me. I thought it'd be better as a surprise."
"I agree."

You, now I see, keeping everything inside
with you
You, Now I see, Even when I close my eyes

"Well, if it was a girl...I would love to name her Kristina..." Delilah said. "Maybe call her "Krissy" for short."
I smiled. "I like that. What if it was a boy?"
"WOAH, don't go crazy on me! We don't need a Julius junior!"
"Very funny!"
We both laughed.
_____________________________________________________________
I hit you and you hit me back
We fall to the floor the rest of the day stands still
Fine line between this and that
When things go wrong I pretend the past isn't real
I'm trapped in this memory
And I'm left in the wake of the mistake slow to react
So even though you're close to me
You're still so distant
And I can't bring you back

"If it's a boy," I said in thought, "Let's name him Klaus."
"Yeah. I like those names." Delilah said.
"Well, I better go and make us supper," Delilah said.
It was hard for Delilah to get up and down lately since of her pregancy. It pained me to wake her up and seeing her throw up because of pregnancy. And lately, she's been craving wierd food lately, like oasters. She hates oasters! Besides, they're gross! I helped Delilah up. She gave me thanks, as she walked down the stairs. I stayed on the bed, till I heard a loud "THUMP!" Oh, DELILAH!

I ran to our staircase. There was Delilah on the bottom of the floor, clutching her stomache. I ran down the stairs as fast as I could. I knew she tripped.
"DELILAH!" I cried out.
I was by my wifes side in seconds.
"The baby!" She cried out.
"We got to get you to the hospital!" I cried out in fear.

AT THE HOSPITAL:
Delilah was rushed to the emergancy room. I was by Delilahs side, who was hooked up to an I.V.. She had a pale pink washclothe on her forhead. I put one hand on the washclothe, one in her hand. She was sweating, and her face was read. The doctor was with us.
"I'm sorry, ma'am." He said with worry. "I'm sorry...but...the child...died."
"NO!" screamed Delilah.

I held Delilah in my arms, both of us crying. I was so excited to be a daddy. In a second...Delilah and me were no longer parents.
"I lost our baby, Julius..." She cried into my chest.
"No, no, honey," I cried, feeling her pain. "It wasn't your fault..."
"If I never fell..."
But then she was introrupted by pain in her stomache. She clutched it again. The doctor was with us once again.
"Wow. The babys still alive, apprently." The doctor said in amazement. "This has never happened before. I was sure it died."
Now, I was in tears of joy. Man, I never felt so happy to hear a doctor wrong.

I held my wifes hand.
"You're doing good, honey," I kept on telling her, holding her hand.
About an hour later, we heard a baby cry. I gasped with happiness. Then the doctor cried out,
"It's a....."
Delilah and me held each others hand in excitement, to figure out if our child was a boy or a girl.
