~~Ryan's POV~~
We ended up deciding to watch a John Cusack movie, "Identity." Maddie had brought it with her, stating that it was one of her favorites.

"Shit!" Jon yelled, grabbing a pillow and hiding behind it. We laughed, but I was pretty sure Maddie was the only one who wasn't freaked out, and we weren't that far into it.

"Wait till you see the end!" she said, picking up the remote, pausing the movie. "Okay, who wants cake?"

We all raised our hands and she disappeared into the kitchen, but not after pressing play. I decided to join her in the kitchen. Brendon gave me a look as I left, but then winked. All I could do was shake my head.

"Need any help?" I asked as I saw her frosting the cake.

"Actually, wanna pour some milk?" she said, her eyes not leaving the cake. I grabbed some glasses and began to pour.

"Are you enjoying the movie?" she asked.

~~ Maddie's POV~~
He followed me into the kitchen. I figured he was freaked out by the movie, and couldn't help but laugh a little. It was cute.

"Are you enjoying the movie?" I couldn't help but ask, knowing he would probably lie.

"Actually, it's kinda freaking me out." he said honestly, putting the milk back in the fridge. I turned around to face him.

"It freaked me out the first time I saw it too. I'm pretty sure there was a scene I screamed at least once during." I told him, putting the left over frosting back in the fridge.

"I'm gonna go check on Avie if you want to start cutting the cake." I said, putting on my shoes and heading towards the door.

"Can I come with?" Spencer said, coming into the kitchen. "We don't want to watch the movie without you. Jon is about ready to pee his pants anyway."

"Sure" I said, and we went outside.

~~Ryan's POV~~*
Spencer and Maddie disappeared out the door into the backyard and I began cutting the cake. Brendon came sauntering in, grinning from ear to ear.

"Did Spencer interupt something?" he asked, poking me in the side. I gave him a strange look.

"Don't play that game with me. I know you like her. Just make a move. Take her on a tour of the university tomorrow. She said she wanted to go anyway. I'll rope the other guys into something. She's probably waiting for you to make a move anyway." He said, taking his cake and disappearing back to the family room.

I stared out the window, wondering what Spencer and Maddie were talking about.

~~Maddie's POV~~~
"He's interested in you, you know" Spencer said, throwing a tennis ball for the 3rd time for Avie to get.

"What? Who?" I asked. What was he talking about?

"Oh don't what who me. You know what I'm talking about." he responded.

"No, Spencer, I honestly don't. Care to enlighten me?" I said.

"You'll figure it out. Just know that I'm going to play matchmaker, so be nice to the poor guy." Spencer said. "You said you wanted to do dance. What kind are you interested in?" he said changing the subject.

"Oh ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern-it really doesn't matter to me. I just love movement." I said, picturing myself on stage.

"Bust a move then," he said, completely serious.

"I'm not wearing the right shoes," I said. Lame excuse, but true. I didn't want to break anything.

"Tomorrow then. Oo! Maybe you can teach me something." he said. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Come on, let's go inside. Night Avie" I said, giving her a pat on the head.

Back inside, we found the guys in the living room again, eating the cake.

"Damn Maddie this is good!" Jon said.

"He'll probably eat half the cake if we let him." Ryan said.

"Well, I think I'm going to head to bed. " I said when we had finished. I began clearing the dishes. "Where is my beloved floor space?" I yelled from the kitchen, turning on the water to clean the dishes.

When I had finished the guys looked at me.

"We've decided you're gonna sleep in Ryan's bed, and he'll sleep in my other bunk bed. Then you can have some privacy." Spencer said.

"You guys have done too much already. Really, I'm fine on the floor. I have been camping before." I said. I really didn't need to steal anyone's bed.

"No, really, it's alright. Ryan already put clean sheets on for you." Brendon said, winking at me.

"I don't know how to thank you guys. You've done so much for me already, let me do something for you guys." I said.

"Well we'll think of some way for you to repay us. But for right now, Ryan why don't you show Maddie your room." Brendon said.

Ryan got up and I followed him to the back of the house. He hadn't looked at me through the whole conversation.

"Look, you really don't have to do this-" I started.

"It's okay" he said, openning the door to his room. "Do you want some help with your bag?"

"I think I can get it. I'll be right back." I went back down the hall and got my bag.

"What are your plans for tomorrow?" Ryan asked when I returned.

"Oh, I don't know. I'd like to cook for you guys again if you'll let me." I said, opening my suitcase and beginning to look for some pajamas.

"Well, uh, would you like to, um, go with me to the university? I could show you around" Ryan started.

"Really?! You aren't too busy?! I would love to!" I told him, jumping up from the ground and rushing over to give him a hug.

"That would really be great." I said, pulling back quickly. His cheeks were flushed, and he hadn't returned my hug. I hoped I hadn't offended him.
