Charlotte was crushed. She thought Pete loved her back. She could feel her heart implode. She didn't know what to do. She felt like chucking something at her head or screaming at her. She wanted to die right then and there. What happened to 'undestanding'? Nothing was making sence in Charlotte's world. And she hated everyminute of it. Luckily, at that moment, her cell phone went off. She grabbed it from her pocket and ran outside. It was the middle of winter and it was freezing outside but Charlotte didn't care. She needed a distraction.
"Hello?" She asked harshily.
"Charlotte! Where've you been? I've been looking all over the place for you!"
"Wait...Who is this?"
"Charlotte, it's your dear brother. Remember me?"
"Ryan?"
"Good. You do remember me."
"Why do you care?"
"Cuz I'm staring straight at you." Charlottes eyes widened.
