  Unfortunately, I could see Hermione going this way after how callous she acted at times in HBP.
  
  That being said I don't think she is as shallow as you portrayed her here or as JKR portrayed her in HBP. Hormones can only explain so much, and lets be honest who would fight over Ron with half a brain? He'd need to have a 20 inch piece for all the good he often is in the books.
  
  I like Luna, and aside from H/Hr I like a good H/Lu fic as much as anyone else does. I look forward to seeing how you flesh out Ron and Hermione all the while giving Harry new allies.

  I think that alot of people hated HBP and was probably due most that Harry and Ginny got paired together, but it was rather obvious that the story was heading that way. I think that alot people forget just how angry Harry was in OOTP as well, and this usually resulted in Hermione in tears. I do like the idea of Harry and Hermione as a couple more so than I like Ron and Hermione together because frankly I find the pair, as a couple, to be about as volatile as nitroglycerine in my trunk on a bumpy road.   I just finished reading your fic, its quite good and I like the way you portrait the characters, I just hope that Hermione can redeem herself and be Harry's friend again, after all she must in a rational way see that he need help and that what she have with Ron is only a fling and will not endure.
  
  Also will Harry make a new group to help him fight Voldemort?

  I like the chapter. First, Hermione's thoughts about herself concerning actions over the year were very thought out. I felt the same way. I never could understand why Hermione, who always stood by Harry's side no matter what had did a complete turn around on him and acted like a total cow to him. Your comment about Ron not helping bridge the gap between the two made me wonder, did Ron slip something to Hermione also? It also shows that Ron still has jealousy issures with Harry. I loved Luna's comback to Ginny about being a scarlett woman. Luna and Harry telling Blaise about Harry being a Slytherin was also very good. Sometimes I think it was not a conicdence that Hagrid, and Ron both told Harry about bad Slytherins.Maybe certain people wanted to ensure that Harry be put into Griffador.
  I loved how you had Harry make Hermione choose between boyfriend and best friend, because lets be relastic, Even if Molly and Arthur had no knowledge about what Ginny did, his relationship with that family is gone. And I don't think Hermione's friendship is worth putting up with them. Good job pointing out that before the potion, Harry and Ginny wre never friends. I mean up until that point he barely knew she was alive.
  Keep up the good work, and I can't wait for the next chapter.

  Thanks for your review. As always you do put a great deal of thought when you review my story and it's greatly appreciated. I thought that the Luna bit was very Ravenclaw and classic Luna, I'm blonde. :) I'm mulling over the next chapter right now in my head. I have some key points that I want to work out first, and should start typing tonight at least a couple of paragraphs. When my muse hits me it hits like a sledge hammer.

  Ron is a jealous git, so of couse he didn't want to have Harry around when he was dating Hermione.
  
  I hope that Hermione will pick to be on Harry's side.

  Well, well! A secret in Luna's mother's life. I wonder what she was doing when she got herself killed...?
  
  Hermione obviously is going to have to decide which side of the fence she is going to sit. You are obviously setting this up to be a "The Weasleys aren't as nice as you think" story, which isn't a criticism - they can be good if written well. However, it does mean that there will be no realisation from Ron and Ginny about their misdeeds.
