The next thing I knew I felt the kids jumping on my legs
"Mommy, Mommy, Mommy" they were yelling. I sat up and started tickling them. Joel was in the doorway watching us
" Bela, Ryan come here" I said. I whispered to them to go tickle Joel. They jumped off the bed and ran to him. He just tickled them back. Everyone was right. He is amazing with the kids. He told them to go get uncle benj and Uncle Tony.
"How are you feeling today" he asked
"A lot better... Joely I want to thank you for being here for me and the kids. I want you to know that part of me has always loved and cared about you. I know frank would want me to move on with you because he trusted you. And I want to be able to do that. I don't know if you do, but the kids need a father and I need help raising them. They are already attached to you, especially Ryan. I want to try things with us but we have to go slow.. im still not really over frank. And I am rambling on now aren't i?" I said kinda fast. He just stared at me then started smiling
"Sadly I understood it all... id like to try us too/ and I think we definitely should take it slow, not only cause of frank, but cause of our friendship" he said sitting down next to me. I laid my head on his shoulder
"Did you pack you stuff for the trip?" he asked
"No I still have to pack mine and the kids things"
"Me, benj, and Tony already got the kids packed this morning"
"I don't know what I would do without you all
"I don't know, but it's already noon. Our plane leaves at 4 so you need to start packing"
"Have the kids had lunch yet?"
"No ill have benj and tone run to McDonalds or something"
"Hand me my purse and ill give you some money"
"Don't worry about it. Ill come get you when they get back" Joel said then kissed me on my forehead. As he did I had to run to the bathroom. That's one think I hated about being pregnant, Morning sickness. Joel followed me to the bathroom and held my hair back for me
"Are you ok? Do we need to go to the hospital?" Joel said starting to panic
"Joely, im pregnant, it's called morning sickness, though I don't know why it's called that it doesn't always happen in the morning. It will keep happening till im about 4 months along." I said
"Oh yeah, well we still need to make you a doctors appointment"
"Yeah but we'll worry about that when we get back. I need t go pack, after I brush my teeth" I said
"Im gonna go tell benj to get food" Joel said kissing my head then leaving. I brushed my teeth then started packing. We were only staying a few days plus I could always steal some of the guys clothes. So I didn't pack a whole bunch. Just as I was finishing up there was a knock on my door
"How's it going" Joel asked
"Im done, oh and just a heads up I plan on stealing some of your all clothes" I said
"That doesn't surprise me at all" he said while laughing. I use to always wear his and benji's clothes when we were younger.
"It's not my fault that your clothes are comfortable."
"Yeah yeah, anyways foods here"
"What time is it?"
"About 1:15"
"What took them so long" I asked
"Benj got in a fight with the intercom thing"
"I don't even wanna know, what time do we have to be at the airport?"
"By 3"
"alrighty" I said. We walked downstairs. Benj, tone and the kids were at the table eating. I don't know who was messier, the kids or the boys/ after lunch we sat around till we had to leave for the airport.. During the plane ride I was the only one who didn't fall asleep. The plane was ready to land when I started waking the guys up. Benj and Tony were easy to wake up, Joel was a different story
" joely come on babe its time to wake up" I said while shaking him
" whats wrong love" he said
"Nothings wrong, the plane is about to land" I said. When the plane landed, I picked up a sleeping Bela and Joel carried a sleeping Ryan. We took a cab to the guys's house. It was 7:00 at night when we got there.
"Guys me and tone are gonna go pick up some dinner, we'll be back in a few" benj said
"Benj can you get some kind of juice for the kids" I asked. He nodded as he left. Me and Joel were in the kitchen when we heard Ryan screaming. We both ran to him. He was crying. I picked him up and sat down on the couch. I started rocking him back and forth.
"Its ok baby, Mommy's here" I said
"I had a nightmare. Daddy was hurt. I want daddy" he said while clinging to me
"I know baby, I know" I said starting to cry.
"Come here Ryan.." Joel said taking him from me. Ryan immediately clung to Joel.
"... I know you miss your daddy, we all do, he's not in pain anymore. He will always be here in your heart and he will always be watching over you to keep you, your mommy, and bela safe. And I will always be here too. Me and you gotta protect your mommy and bela. We have to stick together now to keep them safe, and we gotta love them with all our hearts" Joel said to Ryan
" I love you uncle joely" Ryan said
" I love you to buddy, I love you too" Joel said while hugging Ryan. Just Benji and Tony came through the door
" im gonna go help them" I said . I kissed both Joel and Ryan on the head and went into the kitchen
"whats wrong with Ryan?" Tony asked
"He had a nightmare that Frank was hurt "I said
"Is he okay?" benji asked
"Yeah he's ok, thought it may be awhile before he lets go of Joel" I said. We got the table ready for all of us to eat.
