Let's Hope This Is A Good Idea
Anna's POV
The next morning I woke up to a rather loud buzzing sound. Groaning I rolled over to turn off whatever was making the noise. As I slowly opened my eyes I saw my brother sitting on his bed grinning from ear to ear. It was actually starting to creep me out, a lot.
"What the hell are you so happy about?" I say rather rudely.
"You tell me... you were the one who was all smiles last night."
I started to think back to the events that occurred the previous night and I slowly start to smile.
"There you go with the smiling again." He says pointing out the obvious.
I didn't say anything in reply. I just simply stretched and rolled out of the bed.
"Tell me." He whined and started pouting. Laughing out loud I decided it was no use torturing him any longer.
"Ok, ok... don't get your panties in a twist." I say as I go through my suitcase to find what I was going to wear.
After I had finished telling him about the dinner and what Bob had said to me I looked at him to find no expression on his face. Scared about his reaction my smile slowly faded.
"What's with the look?" I ask "Do you think that it's a bad idea to like him?"
"You just got out of a bad relationship with a musician. I just figured you would learn to stay away from dating people in the music industry for awhile." He said
"Well it's not like im going to start dating him today. We are going to take our time and get to know each other. Then we will see how it goes from there. I don't know what it is that attracted me to him, but I have a feeling he is not like Nathan at all. And why are you bashing all musicians, your one?" I say as my temper started to rise.
"I just mean that musicians usually travel a lot, making it a long distance relationship most of the time. Are you ready for that again; are you willing to make it work?" He says, however I just stare at him.
"You know I love you and Im just looking out for you. But if your happy, Im happy." He finished with a faint smile on his face.
"Just don't be a jackass, I know you and when you don't like someone Im even talking to you treat them like shit. Then you end up feeling like shit when you realize they are pretty cool people." I say warning him to act civilized.
"I will" he said rather annoyed with the conversation now.
I walk into the bathroom and start to get ready for my day, as I do I start to think. I was really hurt that Michael did not support me with the decisions I made. His opinion means everything to me. He was the one who was friends with Nathan before we started dating, however after we started dating Michael did not like the way he treated me, but at that time I didn't care... I was "In Love"... HAHA. Right, whatever that means. I know that I need to take my brothers opinion for all it is worth, I didn't once and look were it landed me.
I walked out of the bathroom ready for my day. I had my shoulder length hair straight, with a black head band. I had on skinny jeans and a white studded belt with my white and black checkered vans and an avenge sevenfold tee. I only had eye makeup on and it was pretty dark.
While Michael hops in the shower I decide to go down to the lobby, which I saw a Starbucks in last night, and grab a Grande white chocolate mocha coffee and a blueberry muffin, which is my addiction. As I sat at a table in the coffee shop I played on my laptop, checking my email, and other sites that I frequently use.
"What are you looking at?" I jumped and looked to my left to see Gerard sitting there laughing at the fact that he had scared me. I guess that I had been more consumed with what I was looking at then I thought.
"Hey, you scared the shit out of me." I say trying to slow my heart rate down.
"I could tell" he replied still laughing.
"So, what's up?" I ask.
"Not much came to fuel my addiction and grab some coffee."
"Same here." I say with a slight smile.
"Well, just thought I would say hi before I left. Ill see you at the venue later." He said as he got up from his seat and waved goodbye.
"Yeah, see ya!" I reply
O crap, I thought to myself, I totally forgot that I had to play on stage in front of a shit load of kids tonight. I packed up my laptop, grabbed my coffee and headed back to my room.
We arrived at the venue about 3 hours ago. I had sat and watched My Chem do their sound check, which made me rather excited to see the show later that night. As we were setting up for sound check I looked out into what was going to be the 'pit' later tonight, to see three out of the five members of my chem sitting there watching us. Gerard, Frank and Bob all had chairs pulled out to the middle of the floor and were talking amongst themselves. My heart started beating rapidly and my palms were sweating more then ever. If I could not do sound check in front of three people how was I going to make it through the show tonight.
I sucked it up and we went into our first song "It's Never All Over". It's my favorite song that 'Facing the Unknown' plays. It's weird to think that Im in my favorite band. I have been a fan of theirs since my brother first made me sit in on their first practice.
The show ended around midnight and I was still in awe at how amazing My Chem is live. When I was on stage it was like the energy of the crowd fueled my energy to play and I went wild, jumping all over the place. Anthony, the lead guitarist, actually had backed up into me at one point, not realizing I was behind him, sending me to the floor. I landed on my wrist, which is pretty sore and swollen, but I think it will be fine. After we had packed everything up I started heading to our bus. I needed to put some ice on my wrist. I turned the corner and ran smack into Bob.
"Hey!" he said with a slight laugh "I was actually looking for you."
"O yeah, what did you need?"
"Well... I wanted to know if you wanted to ride on our bus until the first stop and watch a movie with me." He said in a quite voice. Man this guy sure was shy, but I loved it.
"Yeah that would be fun. Let me go and shower, and you should do the same." I say and I pretend to smell something fowl.
"Ha Ha, very funny. Whenever you're ready just come over to our bus. See you then." He gave me and quick hug and whispered in my ear "You know you don't smell too good either." I gave a look of shock and he walked away smiling.
Let's hope this is a good idea.
