Despite the "triteness", I really enjoyed this update. Once again, this story breathes fresh air into the pokemon world. One of my favorite shattered cliches in this chapter is probably the idea that most pokemon trainers succeed and don't have any second thoughts.
Looking forward to more, but with updates like this, I could wait months.Author's response
Yes, I know, write faster . Forgive me, I'm a bad updater... My writing usually occurs in bursts and pauses, so I could write three chapters in quick time, and then go five months without finishing the fourth because the inspiration ran out on me, and didn't even leave a note.
Thasnk you for the encouraging words. It's always wonderful to hear that I've been shattering cliches. ^^Made of Stone

Nice chappie, it really helps see more into Matts character, and it's nice to see that bolt didn't pop(though I'm sure I would have found it morbidly amusing if he did). I also liked your explaination of the legal system.
Waitin for our next update,

Thank you very much. If Bolt had laminated the landscape it would have been more interesting in the short term, but for the long term it probably would have shut down the story unfortunately. Matt's fun to force out of his plywooded self. He's one of my favorite characters to write, along with Tirith. I wasn't so sure of his angsty little monologue but he's going to have to grow up sometime. Thanks for waiting patiently for the next update. As usual, it might take a while (heck, even my reviewer response takes a while).
