  first of all the last line was complete AW XD and squueee inducing. very cute.

  I was so relieved that you responded that it IS brendons breathes again
  
  this was so very cute :D i can't wait to find out what these presents are.
  
  Finally one little thing:
  
  'Yes the kids, Thomas is almost 18 months.' Brendon smiled.
  
  'Brendon he's not even a year old yet.'
  
  18 months is six months over a year...so Tommy would be 1 and 1/2 ...so you may want to fix that? just a little detail though, in a sea of wonderful :D
