- Ah, it took nearly the whole first year, but people are finally catching on. I wonder if Minerva is going to remember Severus' comments and wonder just how he knew? I like this version of Severus Snape, the basic personality is the same, but he's had his mind opened up enough to rather less judgemental and less biased by the past. Now, if Sirius would mature a bit as a consequence, seeing Harry accepting of Severus would likely help, it would really shake the folks there, esp. the manipulative Dumbledore depicted, to see those two working together - Severus would likely consider it revenge and Sirius would consider it a great prank on Dumbledore.
(#) red_jacobson 2007-06-25i've said it before, but it should be repeated, I really enjoy this story! I just wonder though, have you ever written a story that had Snape being an out and out bastard? I'll admit; I haven't read your HP/SS story; simply because the pairing skeeves me out to no end, but, all the other stories of yours that I've read, Snape is at least partially redeemed.
- So, Sirius meets Harry despite Dumble's interference, and Sirius goes through the 'rite of ascension' to prove his capability, and STILL Lord Dumblemort is interfering. I have the feeling that Ol' Twinkles is gonna get an earful. I'm rather surprised McGonagall didn't figure out who the abused child was. She's normally smarter than that, but, of course, she is, at least in canon, devoted to Dumblefutz.
As always, I eagerly await the next page of 'Hindsight'. Alorkin
