An excellent, logical and believable epilogue - a vast improvement on that mish-mash JKR rushed through. The Real Epilogue

Wow--I'm floored! I like your interpretation of the epilogue MUCH better than JKR's. Book 7 was a total disappointment to me, and after reading this, I feel a little better about it. Thanks for writing, and PLEASE continue to do so!

SOOOO much better than JKR's epilogue! The epilogue along with the whole RW/Hr pretty well put me off of the entire series.
Thank goodness for fanfic! It saved Harry Potter for me and thousands of others. The Real Epilogue

In a way this story shows what happens when "the greater good" is used to determine ones actions. Neither Harry, Hermione, Ron or Ginny live happily ever after. In fact, they can only stand to be around eachother a few weeks a year.
But you did manage to make sense of a few things: Harry keeping Voldemort out of his mind; the sudden jealousy that Harry experienced; why the couples are as they are; why one of the kids is named Albus Severus.
It is indeed possible to believe that this is the real epilogue---and that JKR turned this into a happy version. The Real Epilogue

Now this is a much more believable version of that fluff-fest Rowling tried to fool us with.
Funny thing, I'd always wondered if I was the only one to think that if HP hadn't been a children's series, Harry and Hermione would have ended up making love during that time Ron ran off on them.
