When Pete arrived at the busy club, he was greeted by a few of people that were they're on a normal basis, and a few of the artists that were gonig to be performing. Joe and Andy showed up twenty minutes later, each of them holding a fruit basket.
"We brought food!!" Joe said, in his normally loud voice.
"And it's healthy!" Andy added, walking in after him.
"Oh golly gee! thanks guys!" Pete said sarcasticly
"Anything for our favorite buddie!" Joe said, punching him in the arm.
Pete flintched and held his arm. "Ouch."
The next few hours past, watching many talentless bands perform. Almost all of their songs sounded the same, and almost all of the bandmembers looked alike. It was like De ja vu ten times in a row. Finally, a band worth listening to came on.
A regular sized man wearing a black top hat and a vest approached the front of the stage. His hair was ear length and his bands covered one eye.
"Hey guys, we're Panic At The Disco. I hope you like us, cause we think we're pretty rad." The man stepped back and grabbed the microphone
"Oh, well imagine, while i'm passing the pews in a church corridor and i can't help but to hear, no i can't help but to hear and exchanging of words. What a beautiful wedding."
They played three more songs after that, and left the crowd clapping, cheering and whistling.
After they left the stage, Pete walked over to Joe and Andy. "Dude, those guys rocked. We should go find them and see if they wanna perform with us sometime."
Andy nodded. "Yeah, i'm in."
Joe nodded as well.
The three of them went backstage and found them sitting in chairs against the wall, drinking bottled water.
"Hey." Pete said.
This caught their attention, and they all looked up from the floor.
"Hey man. Your Pete right? Pete Wentz?" The singer left his chair and walked over to him.
Pete nodded. "Yeah, and you guys were amazing."
"Aw thanks dude. I wouldn't call us amazing, but yeah we're alright."
"I'm Brendon." He held out his hand, in which Pete grabbed and shook slightly.
"This is Ryan, Jon, and Spencer." He pointed them out left to right.
The three other band members nodded and all said, "Hey."
"This is Joe and Andy." Pete replied and tiled his head towards them.
"Hey guys. Nice meeting you." He went over and shook their hands.
"We were wondering if you wanted to hang out and maybe show us what other stuff you got. Like, maybe we could perform together sometime or something." Joe lisped.
Brendon starred wide-eyed. "For serious? That'd be great. Here's my number." He handed Joe a small bussiness card with the information they needed.
"Awesome. Talk to you guys later?" Pete asked.
"Totally. See ya." Brendon waved goodbye, along with his other band members.
