One thing with Casey and Pete was that she always seemed to be waking up before him, no matter what, so it was no surprise to her when she cracked her eyes open and she found herself in his arms, snuggling up to his naked chest. She stifled a yawn and smiled as she laid eyes on his twisted thorns tattoo; her favorite out of all of his different inks. She lifted her head and looked up into his sleeping face, wondering why his brows were knitted, yet again, in his sleep. It was almost as if he had never-ending nightmares, just waiting for him every time he closed his eyes. She wanted to know what made him look so tormented at a time when he should be peaceful.

She shifted slightly only to have him tighten his arms around her, pulling her close, his frown deepening. She slid her hand to the small of his back, rubbing softly, smiling when she saw him visibly relax, his brows slowly parting from being knitted close together. As she kept rubbing, he nuzzled the top of her head, mumbling something incoherent in his sleep.

Across the room she heard his cell go off and when she tried slipping away, she was pulled close again. “Just ignore it Casey,” he grumbled as he brought up his hand to rub his closed eyes. “It’s not important.” He let go of her, slid the covers off of him, and swung his legs over the edge of the bed, putting his feet on the floor before he stood up, stretching.

Casey glanced over and looked away when she saw a bare ass. “Um, Pete?”

“Hmm?” He looked over his shoulder at the back of her head.

“Hon, where did your boxers go?”

“Huh?” He looked down, blushing as he grabbed his boxers off of the floor, pulling them on. “I um, did that when I was younger... Hits sometimes,” he said, chuckling nervously. “I’m really sorry about that. Safe by the way.”

Casey chuckled as she looked over at him. “Well, I have officially seen more of you than any other fan,” she grinned, chuckling when he groaned and went into the bathroom, shutting the door. She grinned as she thought, /So there is an ass under those jeans/. She got up and grabbed a change of clothes from her bag, sitting on the bed as she waited for him to come out.

When he came out he shook his head at her and crawled under the covers. “I’m shocked you didn’t notice it,” he pouted.

“Hon, you were under the covers, I couldn’t see,” she said as she leaned down, kissing his cheek softly. “Think I can grab a quick shower?”

“I think you have time... Think I can join you?”

Casey chuckled and ruffled his hair as he smiled sweetly at her to show her he was teasing. He smiled as he watched her retreat, with her clothes, into the bathroom. He got up and went to the table, grabbing his phone. He opened it and looked at the number, sighing when he saw it was his sister’s number. He really didn’t want to know what she had to say this early in the afternoon. He set his phone down and got dressed in a pair of skinny jeans and t-shirt he pulled from his suitcase. He went to the bed, laying down on it as he listened to the shower going.

He groaned when a knock at the door brought him to his feet. He walked to the door and looked through the peek hole to see Patrick and Andy waiting on the other side. Opening the door, he let them in with a smile. “Hey guys.”

“Hey Pete,” Andy said. “Um, we were thinking about going to get some lunch. You up for coming with?”

“Casey can come too if she wants to,” Patrick chimed in as he sat on the bed. “She in the shower?”

Pete nodded and sat at the table, looking at the two. “If she’s up for it I’ll go. I really don’t want to leave her alone here.”

Andy sat across from him. “Even if she doesn’t go, Joe offered to keep her company.”

Pete looked at him, obviously skeptical by the lift of his eyebrow and slight lowering of his head. “Really now? I’m sorry, I’m just having trouble believing Joe would wanna keep Casey company after how they started off...”

Andy nodded. “I’d be just as wary as you are Pete, but obviously he’s getting used to her, and he’s being nicer to her. Even behind her back.”

Patrick nodded as he leaned back on his hands, looking at the two as the shower stopped. “He has been nice to her Pete, even I’m fine with the thought of them chilling and hanging out if she doesn’t come with us to lunch. But hey, you might not even have to worry about it because she might come with us.”

“Yeah,” Andy smiled, pushing some of his red hair from his face to tuck it behind his ears. “You know she likes hanging out with us.”

Pete nodded, just now taking note that the shower wasn’t on. He looked up when the bathroom door opened and Casey stepped out, working a towel over her curled hair and wearing a pair of Kik pants and a black shirt with sleeves going down to her elbows. She lifted a brow and grinned, shaking her head. “What?” Pete asked as he got up, going over to her.

They shared a small kiss before she looked at Patrick and Andy. “I go in for a shower, there’s one Fall Out Boy. I come out and suddenly there are three,” she chuckled. “Hey Anders, hey Trick.”

“Hey Casey,” Andy waved.

“Hey Cas,” Patrick smiled. “Andy and I were coming over to see if you and Peter wanted to go to lunch with us. You up for it?”

“Eh, I’m not really hungry,” she answered, looking at Pete. “Is it okay if I stay and watch TV?”

Pete nodded and kissed her forehead, her hair brushing his cheek, leaving a wet mark. “If you want to baby. I won’t be upset. Actually, Joe is going to be staying behind also, maybe you guys could hang out with each other while we’re gone?”

“You sure hon?” Casey asked, feeling confused even though she hid it. If Pete was actually going to try to trust Joe alone with her, she wouldn’t question it any further than what she already was; she didn’t want any trouble between him and his friend. She noticed the look of confusion Andy and Patrick shared. “You’ll be okay with that?”

Pete nodded, smiling as he wiped away the wet mark on his cheek from her hair. “Of course hon. If you’re not hungry I’m not going to force you to come to lunch with us. You can stay and hang with Joe if you’d like.”

“Okay hon,” she smiled as they kissed one more time. “What room is Joe in?”

“We can show you real quick before we go,” Andy said with a smile.
