Brendon smiled up at her and extended his hand.

"Brendon Urie. Your obviously Izzy. Pepper's told me your sick, I hope your feeling better."

Izzy shook his hand then looked at Pepper.

"Is this for real? Am I dreaming?"

Pepper shook her head. Izzy just nodded.

"Hi Brendon, thank you for asking. Oh, by the way this is my boyfriend, Mason, also one of Pepper's
besties."

Brendon Mason's hand as he and Izzy sat down together in the recliner.
Several minutes passed.

"Well this is awkward," Mason began.

Pepper giggled, " In a way. Yes."

Brendon fidgeted slightly before he stood up suddenly.

"Pepper, if you wouldn't mind would you like to go for a drive with me? I think we woke your friends
up and they obviously need rest," he said.

Pepper agreed.

"I'll see you guys later. Get better so we can work Monday. Please."

Pepper put her jacket on and followed Brendon to his car. Once they got next to the car, Brendon
unlocked it and opened Pepper's door for her.

"Oh, thank you," she said getting in.

Brendon shut the door and walked aorund getting in on his side. He started the car and put it into
reverse, thus pulling out of the parking lot.

"You know," he said when he pulled onto the main road, "Thinking back that seemed kinda rude. Just
getting up like that. I mean there's nothing wrong with your friends it's just I hardly know anything about you. And I think I'd like to know more about you first before I got to really know you friends."

Pepper nodded.

"Ok. So you said you wanted to know more about me. I'm nineteen years old and I attend UNLV. Most of
my classes are in writing for publication and music performance to make me a better lead singer for
my band. I'm originally from Georgia, hence the accent you love," she said playfully looking at him.
He looked at her out of the corner of his eye and smirked.

"I have three older brothers. Patrick who is 22 and a sports journalist. Konner is 25 and screen
writer and my eldest brother Koleten Ray who is 28 and a lawyer. I am also related, by marriage, to
Gerard and Mikey Way."
Brendon came to a stop at a red-light and looked at her.

"Really? That's awesome. You said your in a band?"

"Mmhmm. 'seizeMANNEQUIN'," she said spelling it out for him, " I'm the lead singer and bassist. Izzy
is the rythm guitarist and does back ground vocals. Mason is plays the acoustic. And our friends
Yoshi, Anaheim, and Karrie play the drums, keyboard, and background vocals respectively."

"You have a girl drummer? That's cool,"Brendon said before he was cut off by a giggle, "What?"

"Yoshi is a guy. We call him Yoshi because we couldn't pronounce his full name. It's the male version of Yoshi, though. It's spelled Y-O-S-H-I-Y-U-K-I. So yeah," Pepper finished.

Brendon's ears started to turn slightly red.

"Sorry. First impression was your drummer was a girl."

"It's ok,"Pepper laughed, "Your not the only one."

"Nice. So your band. Just something to do on the side or is it the career you wanna pursue," he
asked?

"It's kind of both. Right now it's just a little side project. I'd like to be a mainstream band, but
I'm pretty content being a little podunk indie group."

Brendon nodded as he he made a right turn.

"What kind of music do you like? Favorite movies?"

"Oh, wow. Let me think. To answer the music question, I like just about everything. Except rap. I
like a little hip-hop; but I'm more into rock, alternative, classic rock, and country. To answer
your second question, my top 6 favorite movies would be Edward Scissorhands, The Blues Brother's,
How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days, Ghost Rider, Love at First Bite, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers."

"Seven Brides for Seven Brothers? Never heard of it,"Brendon replied.

"Oh it's an old movie. From, about 1958 I think. It's a really good musical,"Pepper replied.

Brendon smiled, "I might have to watch it sometime."

"Iz and I have it at home," she said giving him a side glance.

Brendon's mouth opened in mock-shock.

"Is that an invitation?"

Pepper smirked.

"What do you think?"

Brendon just grinned.
