Brendon and Pepper drove around for another hour or so just talking about this,that, and the other.
Both parties loved it because they found out so much about the other: like, dislikes, things that
the had in common.
The usual kind of conversation. Pepper sneaked a look at her watch. It was almost three o'clock. It ws kind of hard to believe that she had been conversing with Brendon for almost two hours. It didn't seem like that long at all.
But at the present time there was a slight lull in the talk. So Pepper spoke up.
"You know, if you'd like we could go back to my apartment and watch some movies. I mean it's cold out and when it's like this, there's nothing better than to curl up on the couch, make some hot cocoa, and watch a good movie."
Brendon nodded.
"I'd like that," he said as he made to go back to the city.

An hour later found Pepper leading Brendon to her apartment. Pepper unlocked the door and went
inside.
As she laid her key's on the table she found a note from Izzy.
'Hey girl. Mason and I decided to go back to his apartment, since we're both contaminated. Even tho
you've had your flu shot, I don't know if Brendon has and he might be coming back over. So I'll be
with my boy. Don't worry, I'm in good hands. See you later.

"Psh, it's not the hands. It's his arms I'm worried about," Pepper muttered slightly quoting a line
from GREASE.
"What," asked Brendon as he took his shoes and coat off as Pepper had instrustced him to upon arriving at the complex.
"Izzy's with Mason, being sick together. She said not to worry she's in good hands. But it's not his
hands, it's his arms I'm worried about. They get to hugging and lord it'll go on and you won't see
them for the longest."
Pepper shook her head as Brendon laughed.
"Would you like to help me make the hot cocoa,"she asked as she walked into the kitchen.
Brendon followed her.
"You mean we're having actual hot cocoa?Not the store bought kind," he asked?
"Yup. The other is all right but only when you have to have it to go. I like to have home made myself though."
Brendon nodded.
"Ok so what do I need to do first?"

Thirty minutes later they had fresh home made hot chocolate. Pepper's own recipe with a secret
ingredient (she even made Brendon turn around and close his eyes when she retreived it and added it
to the pot) just to make it pop so to speak.
"Ok so what would you like to watch," she asked as they walked into the living area.
"How about that movie you mentioned earlier?"
"Seven Brides for Seven Brothers?Ok.," Pepper replied sitting her cup on the coffe table next to
Brendon's.
Walking over to the book case next to the entertainment system and found the movie.
Popping it into the DVD player she picked up the remote and went to sit on the couch next to Brendon.
Reaching behind his head she turned off some of the lights so there wouldn't be a glare on the screen.
"Do you want a blanket,"Pepper asked as she picked one up off the arm of the couch as Brendon shook his head.
Pepper nodded and started the movie.
During the first fifteen minutes of the movie the two of them moved slightly closer. But as the
movie progressed the space between them was nearly gone.
Actually it was quite funny because they were both into the movie and the moving was done unconsciously.
As the first hour almost completed itself, Pepper noticed how close she was to Brendon.
Deciding she liked the closeness she wondered if it would be wrong for her to lay her head on his shoulder.
Unbeknownst to her Brendon was thinking along the same lines, if it would be to forward of him to
suggest above said contact.
Pepper looked up to find Brendon him looking at her. Between them
nothing was said but through an unspoken agreement each shifted slightly so that Pepper was turned
towards Brendon and her left leg was slightly draped over his lap and her head rested just below his shoulder.

The movie finally ended and our couple got up to stretch. While stretching, Brendon glanced at his
watch.
"Oh shit. I was supposed to meet Ryan and Spence 30 minutes to go. And it's 5:30. Hey Pep, I'm sorry
I have to go. But I enjoyed spending the day with you,"Brendon said grabbing Pepper's hand and holding it gently.
"I enjoyed it too," Pepper said with a smile loving the feel of her hand in Brendon's.
"Um. I know we've only known each other for not even 24 hours and if I'm going to fast please tell
me, but would it be all right if I kissed you. Nothing big, just a small one," he added hastily
seeing Pepper's eye's widen.
"I mean if you not comfortable with it I understand, but I was just wondering-"
"Ofcourse,"Pepper said, stopping Brendon's rant, trying not to giggle.
"What?"
"I said ofcourse. I wouldn't mind."
"Oh ok," Brendon replied bending down slightly so he was eye level with Pepper.
Closing his eyes he moved forward. Following his lead, Pepper did the same tilting her head the
opposite direction.
The kiss didn't last more than five seconds before the two broke apart.
"I'll call you," Brendon said before kissing the back of Pepper's hand and departing Pepper just stood there and blushed slightly as she couldn't help but think, 'Brendon Urie just kissed me. And I liked it.'
