  Excellent chapter! I loved seeing Neville and company take care of Draco and his stooges with just the right amount of flare! It looks as though Luna will have loads of filler articles for the paper.......maybe even a book " Dark Lords and Idiots: the Biography of Harry J. Potter ". Dumbles, Snape, Voldy and the Weasleys would give her loads of material for it! I'm looking forward with glee to smackdown central......the Hogwarts students are going to see one devil of a show this year........what's the odds Dumbles tries to have the marriages annulled? After all, he has proven to be both stupid and a control freak. Then again, Harry, Hermione, and Daphne were fairly powerful to begin with, now that Harry's power is unblocked and they can support each other through the bond the smackdowns magical and otherwise will be nasty. I hope Madam Pomfrey's got lots of healing potions on hand.....she'll need them when the carnage starts. Thanks for another great chapter! As for Molly, if she had good sense she'd head for Outer Mongolia, forget she speaks english, and would dye her hair before trying to punish Harry and Hermione for escaping!

  I like the way Harry is unsure about himself. You've made him powerful, but he's not perfect. I look forward to seeing him kick Dumbledork ass.

  It's a bit over the top, but I'm enjoying the story nonetheless. Always nice to read a HP story where Harry is actually a cut or two above the norm (unlike the canon series itself).

  I always figured that being over the top was better than being under the bottom, and both are better than on the level, because that's just boring...

  i'm enjoying this story a lot; and; can agree with the concern about Daphne and Hermione getting sweaty with each other right away. Granted, it's a hell of a lot of fun to write and read about; but ; without a valid reason or at least a build up in the story; it comes out as forced.

  Oh, sure I like those movies as much as the next guy, but it doesn't fit Hermione's personality, in canon or my story...

  Grins...... of course you can use the title, after all your story is why I thought of it! (winks) Now that was an entrance, and I hope that Neville and the others have excellent seats for the show that is about to begin! Hmmmm....will the house elves provide popcorn and other snacks? Of course, most of the students might enjoy it but Dumbles, Snape, Malfoy and the Weasleys might end up with a nasty case of indigestion.....and the first smackdowns of the school year. It's a pity the twins aren't there, they could have made a fortune running a book on how many times per day Dumbles and company are going to be dealt with by the Potter-Black family. I wonder if Colin will get a good set of pictures for "Dark Lords and Idiots"....they'd fit in well with both the Quibblers's article(s) and the book. Thanks again for the story, and I can't wait for the Molly/Hermione bout. Either verbally or physically Molly'll be outclassed. And if Ginny and Ron go after her they'll find out the hard way why she's considered the smartest witch in Hogwarts......and it will hurt. A lot. Then again it might be better for the human race if neither of them breed. As for Neville, it'll be lovely to watch him dish out some payback as well. Chuckle, Snape might not realize who or what had hit him......and he deserves whatever he gets! As they say it's always the quiet ones.......and if anyone tries to cross Neville or someone he cares for it will get very ugly. Add in his friendship with Harry and Hermione and Hogwarts will be ground zero thrice over! I can hear the theme from Apocalypse Now playing through the halls of Hogwarts.....chuckle.

  I would suspect that Ron or Ginny would have to worry more about Hermione's bonded than the lady herself... She might show mercy, they most certainly won't.

  To allow at least an appearance of "clean hands", I can see Harry & Daphne going after Ron; Hermione & Daphne going after Ginny; Harry & Hermione, possibly backstopped by Neville (and co.) going after Snape and Malfoy; and all three going after Dumbles. It's going to be quite the entertaining semester for everyone else.
