  Oh, that meeting with Lucius should be interesting. It sounds like Tom is going to try and use him in that meeting for a "head strike". Somehow, I don't think he eally knows just how strong Harry is and I suspect Harry won't be the one dying. Now, if Harry was feeling vindictive, as Lucius lay dying, he'd dissolve the marriage, making Draco a bastard, as he promised, and permanently ending the House of Bad Faith. I wonder if Narcissa's return to the House of Black would bring all the Malfoy assets with her? That would -rather- inconvenience Tom.

  I was just rereading the chapter when something occured to me....if Neville and Harry had chosen purebloods to begin with would Dumbles have still interfered? I think he would have anyway just on general principle because he hadn't chosen them and of couse he knows best.(not!) Did he attempt to interfere with James and Lily, or he try something and get slapped down by James, Lily, and/or James's parents? Or was it only certain couples that he messed with? Since he enjoys micro managing other people's buisness I can't see him stopping just because Voldy got away. Did he just use other means until the latest fiasco with Harry and Hermione? What a concited, manupulative creep he is, I hope that he loses everything he's valued so much, he school, influnce, power and reputation. Truly I have enjoyed this story, and appriciate all of the work and thought you have put into it!

  That depends. Dumbles is concerned that the 'Chosen One's mate be acceptable to the old families of the light (an arrogant bunch of prejudiced bastards) Ginny, from a light aligned family would work, so would Sue Bones, Daphne would not (since her family is seen as a Dark one.
  
  Did Dumbles interfere with James and Lilly? Well since it is one of my conjectures that he put them under fidelus instead of getting them out of range, I'd say yes.
  
  Harry is working to remove everything he cares about from Dumble's grasp.

  Hmm, if Harry isn't going to kill Lucius, I could see leaving him thoroughly trashed, with his ability to father destroyed, and -then- disavow the marriage on the basis of inability. wicked chuckle That could get quite a reaction all around.

  I like it. I took a bit of time off from reading in order for a few chapters to get posted. Definitely interesting twist to not only have a manipulative Dumbledore but dark and racist as well. Why is Fawkes still with him? Update soon.

  The story is still interesting, however the pacing seems to have started to accelerate which makes me feel like there ought to be more in the last couple chapters. It is still a fun read and I'm waiting for more.

  I just reread the last three chapters each of which cover a day or part of one.
  
  Chapter 10 - Friday Sept 1, the Welcoming Feast and aftermath,
  
  Chapter 11 - Saturday Sept 2, Ginny got abused, Draco and Snape got schooled, Dumbles was put on notice, and Minnie got Hermione's side of the story.
  
  Chapter 12 - Sunday Sept 3, Neville got teased, The Twins confront Molly, Tonks ran home to mommy, Remus reflected, Minerva slapped the youngest Weasley's down, Hermione confronted Ron, Dumbles and Andromeda Tonks, Tommy tries to figure Harry out, and Dumbles plots his emergency back up plan
  
  A fair amount took place, but I dont' really see the acceleration, nor what wholes need to be filled in. What in particular are you referring to?

  I was re reading this after some time and it hit me, the head of the DMLE found out an auror had been raping a minor 3 times a week for 9 months and she lost her job… some how that seems a little bit lenient to me. what about some jail time?
