  Unfortunately, there are indeed people in this world so convinced that what they are doing is right that no amount of logic can change their minds (Yeats wrote "The worst are full of passionate intensity"). One thing that seems common to all such people, however, is that the sacrifices that have to be made "for the greater good" never have to be made by themselves. These people can never be convinced, they have to be thwarted.

  Ah, the ever pointless greater good. I wonder if Dumbledore would fight or bend over if Harry told him that a swift boot up his ass was for the greater good. On another note, I always knew that Snorkacks were real.

  Why am I never ever surprised when Bubblebrain trots out that exhausted excuse" IT'S FOR THE GREATER GOOD " ? Is it just me or does anyone else wonder if the old fraud has ANY functional brain cells left in his brain? It's like if he can't fuck up Harrys' life he's not happy. Mini should drop something heavy on his head and wait a month to see if he wake on his own or dies and does the magical world of Britain a huge favor. Maybe in his next great adventure Fate or Magic should make that life identical to what Harry had to live through thanks to him. As well as Have Magic ignore all his entreaties for help. I seriously doubt he could live long under such harsh conditions.

  What the fuck is with this moron anyways?! He keeps going on about his greater good but NOBODY besides him know what the fuck he's talking about!!! And only a complete and utter moron would give a shit about what the other old morons in the Wizengamot find acceptable!!! It's his life and that old goat fucker has no right to decide who Harry should or shouldn't be friends with nor marry! But as usual he feels it's his right to tell Harry how to live his life! It's well past time someone did two very important things for Harry. A) KILL DUMBLEDORE and B) get him to the Goblins so they can tell him ALL about his family and maybe even unseal his parents will. I'm sure that would throw a great many of that old goat fuckers plan in the dust bin of extremely bad ideas. If Harry does get married to Luna before returning to school, the old goat fucker'll have one hell of a time trying to marry him off to some other pure-blood of his own choosing. Maybe when Harry returns to school he can kill the old goat fucker and thereby free himself of his meddling.
