We got off the plane and immediately the plane took off back into the air. We started walking deeper into the jungle my guesses, actually I had no idea of where we were heading and by the look on Delilah’s face she was just as clueless.
“So, Dee exactly where are we heading?”
“Not sure.”
Suddenly we heard a booming voice coming from deeper in the jungle. My guesses it was Mrs. Deeds.
“Delilah and Julius, lets play a game, after all you guys do love games.”
“Yes, Mrs. Deeds we do indeed love games!” I said yelling
“Good, now here’s the game it’s called Survival of the Fitess you’ll be faced with life threatening obstacles. There are 3 levels to this game and guess what you’re on level one.
“Aren’t we lucky?” Delilah said in a sarcastic tone.
“Now here’s the catch if you loose you die or if succeed through all those levels then you’ll have to fight the most difficult thing you’ve ever faced.” She said
“And exactly what would that be?” I asked
“You’ll only know if you succeed through all the levels, so have fun fighting for you lives.”
“Great, just great.” Delilah said in a sarcastic tone.
“Come Dee, It can’t be that bad we’ll probably just fight some wired creature like we always do.” I said trying to cheer her up
“Yah you’re probably right.” She said
(Delilah)
“Hmm, I wonder what obstacles are on level 1.” I said
“Don’t know.” He said
Suddenly, Reptiles were appearing from different sections from the jungle. An anaconda from the east and a crocodile from the west.
Instantly Julius took out his grapple rope and attached it to high tree. He quickly wrapped his arm around my waist as I wrapped my arms around his chest he than pressed the button and up we went into the tree.
“Jay, I just remembered something about reptiles.” I said
“Yah, and.” He said looking down at both reptiles.
“And since there hungry they’ll eat anything including each other.” I said with a smile
“Oh, that’s right anaconda do eat mammals, rodents and even some reptiles including the crocodile.” He said with a smile.
“Exactly, now how do we lead them into each other?” I asked
“Leave it to me.” He said
“Wait what are you going to do?” I asked
“You’ll see.” He replied
Just then Julius went in front both reptiles and at the same time they both approached Julius. The crocodile was fast to react and scratched Julius on the chest. He yelled in pain. It was then the anaconda’s turn to attack but Julius was faster, at the last second the anaconda attacked and Julius pressed the button and up he went.
But instead of the anaconda attacking Julius it attacked the crocodile. Soon the crocodile was no more and the anaconda left.
“Bravo, you’ve completed level 1; have fun now enjoy the rest of the day because comes tomorrow level 2 will begin.” Mrs. Deeds said with laughter
“Julius, you do realize there was another way of doing that.” I said
“Yah, I just preferred that way.” He said
“Well now we have to go find a pond of some sort to clean up the scratch on your chest.”
“Yah I kind of figured that.” He said
(Julius)
We had finally come across a pond after hours of walking. I sat down on a log and took off my shirt.
“Julius, lie down it be easier for me to clean up the wound.” Delilah said
Delilah then ripped off the sleeve of her shirt and dipped it in the water then she placed it softly on my chest and began to clean the wound.
“Thanks Dee.” I said
“No problem after all you are mine.” She said with a smile on her face
“Yes I am and you are also mine.” I said with a smile
She then leaned in and gave me a short passionate kiss. After she finished cleaning up the wound we both started making a shelter and gathering food
(Night)
Delilah had fallen asleep so I decided to carry her to our shelter. I placed on the big smooth leaves we found earlier and then I began to stroke her beautiful brunette hair. I later fell asleep with an arm around Delilah’s waste.
