Given that they both have had their loving and loved spouses violently murdered just recently AND that Hermione is pregnant with the child of said murdered spouse then nice and easy is definitely the way to go.
The way I would see them progressing is that they continue to be there for each other. Perhaps one or the other of them has a nightmare while in Hawaii and the kids get the other to comfort them. The kids wind up in one room and Harry and Hermione wind up in bed together, no sex but some cuddling and maybe a guilty fondle. Then, after the crimes are solved, they can grow closer still. The solution to the mystery giving them both the closure they need to move on.
Finally, Harry is there when Hermione gives birth and they then come to understand that each needs the other. They move in together permanently but still have to wait to have sex the requiste 6 weeks.
I like the irony of them waiting to be sure and then having to wait some more when they are. Plus the idea of Harry having sex with Hermione while she is carrying Ron's child in her womb is just wrong.

Excellent points, as usual. Remember - true love waits, and in the meantime masturbates. . .Battered Hearts

Paul is trying to understand his newfound difficulties. It's too bad his doctor is unfamiliar with possession by malevolent spirits.
Kalaeo and Lanikai are wonder-workers. They recognize the problem, and take the actions to correct it. Having lived through the death first, our unborn son, and then three weeks later my wife, I understand better than most, how that affects a person. I can see Hermione's uncertainty when Harry asked her to move in with him and the boys.
In typical Hermione fashion, she overreacted. She has her reasons and concerns, but her reaction was hurtful to Harry and the boys. Fortunately for her, Harry is the understanding type.
A/N: Antabuse is no longer prescribed here in the US.(to the best of my knowledge) It's side effects are considered to severe to be safe. The physical rejection of the alcohol and the long-lasting and completely overwhelming nausea is considered to be worse than the alcohol. (I had a shipmate on the America in the early 80's who was on it. After a while he decided to stop taking it, despite that the Corpsmen were required to administer each dose. He'd just palm the pill, or spit it out when the doc wasn't looking. He died in 83 walking across the road, stupid as a new Ensign, and got hit by a drunk driver.)
Don't just transfer your music to MMP-3. Electronic storage is the easiest to destroy. Have the records digitally corrected and burned onto CD. That way, you'll have a permanent copy. If you can, store the originals in soft paper in a cool dry container. Those originals are worth a great deal, not only in coinage but in the music itself. Many of the singers are no longer alive, and it would be a horrible waste to get rid of something that cannot be replaced.
As before, I eagerly await the next chapter of 'Battered Hearts'. Alorkin

Wow! What a review, some wonderful insights here. Thankyouthankyouthankyou!
It's too bad his doctor is unfamiliar with possession by malevolent spirits.
What's important here is the there is a NHS database that an enterprising DMLE probie can tap into. . .
Kalaeo and Lanikai are wonder-workers.
We'll see more of them later.
In typical Hermione fashion, she overreacted.
Imagine "Hermioneness mixed with second trimester hormones - stand back!

Good point.
Don't just transfer your music to MMP-3.
I'll be sure to do just that!
Thank you again!
I mean I'll be sure to transfer the files to a CD or two or three. . .
Loved "Harry Loves You," BTW.Battered Hearts

It's interesting watching Hermione and Harry inch toward being with each other as their souls wish and it's a pleasure watching their relationship develop. In the meantime, there's a crime to solve and that'll help the healing and closure.
I wonder if NHS records are ever accessed by medi-wizards or others who'd recognize Paul's symptoms. I thought the scene of the tentacles just missing him that night was a nice illustration of how that cognivore is slowly slipping since Ron's end.Author's response
Wow!
Someone's been reading my outline again!
Yes, NHS records will feature into this story.
You're good!
. . . or I'm getting too damn predictable.
Time for another plot twist!Battered Hearts

Nice sweet part here, and really liked how the two of them are getting close, very slowly, but surely, and it shows just how much Harry really cares for her imo, as much as she cares for him.Author's response
One of these days I'll write a story where the relationship between Harry and Hermione is a platonic one. . .
Yeah, right!
Nice and easy does it, sure, but I want to see some sweaty snugglebunnies before we're through!

Very good update. The time of realization for Harry and especially Hermione seems to be pretty close. Delusions only take one so far, after all.
Looking forward to more.Author's response
J.K. Rowlings, whom I love and adore, has been quoted as saying "anyone who thinks Harry and Hermione will get together is deluding themselves."
Thank God and the Goddess for fanfiction. I plan to delude myslef for the rest of my life.

I like it. A lot. Just one question though... where did you get the name Ginevra? I always though Ginny was short for Virginia or Genevive. Either way, I've always been a huge fan of Harry/Hermoine. Of course my other obsession was Albus/Minerva... but JK tore that one from me, huh?Author's response
In HP-Lexicon.org you can see Ginny's given name is Ginevra Molly Weasley - Ginevra is the French form of the name Guinevere ("fair one").
