I woke with a start, allowing a fearful unwanted attraction overcome me. The presence around me had an unknown sense that I have never felt before. It felt different than Jade and not like Jared; it gave off an almost magnetic pulse.

My heart began to race when my senses began to adjust in ways I've never felt. I wanted to cry out to Jade for help, but something held control over my will power, but what was it?

As much as I struggled, I couldn't break from the magnetic compulsion that bound me where I lay.

What was doing this? Where is Jade? Why haven't I just left the cave?

All sorts of questions entered my head, but the one that kept repeating was one I didn't expect..

Why isn't Jade here to save me?

Soon before I could ponder why I was needed Jade, my world went black..
