Sweet holy hell you have just basically said everything I have been saying to everyone I know since the tragic death of Hannah Bond and the blame being put on My chem. I completely and utterly agree with everything your saying and I hope to god that MCR know that their fans are behind them 100%. I am so rating this :]

The Media will call it the "Emo Revolution" or some shit like that, but we will change thier stereotyping controling,BLIND ideas.
'emo" is okay as a BROAD topic, meaning "different" and as a us against them term, but now they've gone too far and made it this small, narrow space of an idea exploding with fucking stereotypes...MCR saves THOUSANDS of lives!!! the Media is SHITI Hope the Media Rots to the Core

Fuck. You are so right. I dont see how my chem can be blamed for teen suicide, when they bring so much fucking hope to all of there fans.
I hate the media, they have no idea what they're talking about.
I agree; i really couldn't have put it better myself.

Fucking hell, this is what i have been waiting for someone to write. You are so right. I am not a teenie fan, i'm the same age as Gerard and i find their music inspiring and thought provoking. No doubt people will take the piss because i'm "older" but i can truly say their music and what they have said have helped me alot. I'm not the person i was 4 years ago. I was really down on myself then and i'm now not afraid to admit that i had depression, i did cut (i'm so ashamed and will have to live with the scars)and i let people bullshit me about, but if someone can take one little bit from what they have done and change their life then fuck give them the credit for making that one bit of difference. It gave me the strength to change my life and i'm a more confident and definately happy person. I will always be grateful.
Don't worry about the Daily shitty Mail - it's an old fashioned, nazi sympathiser, right-wing piece of shit. Needed to get that off my chest :) Also i FUCKING HATE the Emo tag.I Hope the Media Rots to the Core

Emo, were told, stands for 'over emotional' or 'emotionally unstable'. Tell me who defines this tag? Possibly people who gave up on having any real emotions years ago. They apply it as a criticism to people who think, who care, who examine their life and want it better, stronger and reach for something that offers inspiration and hope.
Depression and needing something to help lead your progress to something better is nothing to do with age or social background or race or any of those stupid stereotypes that are pushed on us every day.
My Chem speak for a lot of people and have helped so very many, but I doubt that statements like this would sell so many news papers.
If the history is music has taught us anything, it's that some people will always believe that all the ills of the world are caused by whoever is popular at the time. You only have to look at how Elvis, The Beatles or The Rolling Stones were received by some at the time. Apparently, no lessons have been learned.
I hope My Chem know that their music and message has reached and helped so many. They have made a real difference to the people that need it. And long may they continue to do so!I Hope the Media Rots to the Core

I totally agree and i love your passion. Lazy ignorant journalism. Did you see the Daily Mail have now said that the march/emo debate has been higlighted by MCR's record company to help with their new album. WTF there is no new album coming out soon. I was so mad. It's on the NME.com website.
Dont piss your life away with suicide
it's a bullshit way out
- Gerard Way
Suicide is a serious thing. And if you know anyone who is suicidal, you need to get them help. No one should be in pain. Everyone should love themselves. Like I love you all.
-Gerard Way
For Moonpig:-
Interviewer: How do you feel about turning thirty this year?
Gerard: I'm actually excited about it. I'll tell you why.
I always see getting older as like learning. Thirty's not old...
Thirty's like when you're twenty.
Frank: Yeah. For trees.
Gerard: ...for trees.

Every single word you said is 100% fucking true.
My Chemical Romance, and especially Gerard, would NEVER promote suicide or self harm. They are copmpletely against it, and they SAVE lives, NOT destory them. It's like... one of their messages and mission. They're always speaking out about violence, suicide, drug abuse, self-harm, and much more, and how that all they're trying to do, is save kids like us, and get the message out.
The bullshit they put in the paper these days can't be trusted one bit, and those reporters really have no idea what they talk about. And it's not like the care whether they offend people or not, it's just their objective to get paid, and release some fucking scandal like this over and over.
I know people, who without MCR, would not be alive today. It's a fact, and I myself, would probably be a different person without them.
The MCRmy will always stand tall, and be there.
