!!!!!Chapter 8!!!!!
Two and a half months passed and was now the month of March. It was the Madden twin’s birthday! Not only was it their birthdays but Hilary was now 7 months pregnant. Her stomach was big but not extremely big like some others. I guess she was lucky enough not to have one.
Hilary and Joel have been getting along really good and their relationship was growing better by the day. Hilary loved having Joel around because he was so supportive in whatever she did. She liked that a lot.
Hilary walked out of her bathroom wearing a black short dress that was strapless. It was also glittery and showed off her now pregnant belly. She had her hair curled and her make up done natural except she went with the dark eyes and put pink shimmery lip-gloss on her lips. She slipped on her black stilettos and grabbed her sliver glittery handbag and headed downstairs. She grabbed her cell phone and keys and headed out of the door and made her way to pick up Joy.
Hilary arrived at Joy's and honked the horn waiting for Joy to come out. The girls were going to be late if she didn't hurry up. Hilary popped in a mix CD and looked over at Joy's house seeing her walk out. Joy was wearing a pink v-neck dress that fell just above her knees. She had her hair straightened and her make up was all natural except for her lips gloss that was pink. She also had white flip-flops on her feet and a white handbag in her hand. She smiled walking up and got in
Hilary looked over at her, “hey Joy you look great!” she said putting the car in drive
“You do too!” Joy said smiling
Hilary started driving down the road, “thanks!” she said smiling as they headed to LAX Nightclub
[At LAX Nightclub]
The girls arrived at the LAX nightclub and headed inside. They walked in seeing people everywhere. Some of the people she knew but majority of them she didn't. There were mainly celebrities there. The girls walked in trying to find the boys to wish them a happy birthday.
Hilary's eyes scanned the room and soon fell on Joel who was up on stage DJing. She smiled to herself and started making her way through the crowd of people. After about ten minutes she finally got to the stage and made her way up to the DJ booth. She walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder
Joel turned around and a smile spread across his face, “hey babe! I'm glad you're here!” he said hugging her
“Thanks babe. Happy Birthday!” she said kissing him on the lips
Joel smiled, “Thanks. You look great.” he said looking at her outfit as he put his hands on her hips
Hilary looked at him trying not to blush, “thanks!” she said wrapping her arms around his neck, “you look pretty sexy yourself!”
Joel pulled her closer to him and kissed her, “thanks” he said planting kisses down her neck
Hilary started giggling as she pushed him away, “Joel not right now!”
“I'm sorry I just can’t help myself” he said laughing
Hilary shook her head, “I’ll see ya in a little bit okay? I'll let you go back to your DJing” she said kissing him before walking off the stage.
Joy made her way over to Benji. He was walking around and mingling with everybody. She caught him just as he was about to leave,”hey baby!” she said smiling
Benji looked over at her smiling,”Hey babe! I'm glad you finally got here!” he said pulling her into a hug
“sorry we were late. I had to make myself look all beautiful!” she said giggling
Benji kissed her on the lips,”babe you're beautiful the way you are.” he said smiling
“Aww babe thanks!” she said pulling him into a kiss
[Couple Hours Later]
A couple hours passed and it as now time for them to sing happy birthday to the boys.
Joy grabbed the microphone, “can I have your attention please!” she said looking around, “it is now time to bring the cake out and sing happy birthday! So please bring the cake out!” she said getting excited.
Everybody moved so the cake could be brought out. They rolled it up to Benji and Joel who were standing there smiling. Joy grabbed the microphone once again, “Okay lets sing happy birthday!” she yelled into the microphone and everybody started singing it. Benji and Joel looked at each other and blew the candles out and everybody started clapping.
“Okay everybody lets party some more!” Joy yelled into the microphone before running up to Benji. She reached him and pulled him into a hug, “happy birthday baby!”
Benji kissed her for a few minutes before pulling away, “thanks baby! Lets go party!” he said walking off with her
Joel looked around for Hilary but couldn't find her. He scanned the room and saw his sister Sarah. He walked up to her, “hey Sarah have you seen Hilary?”
“Yeah she went outside. She was on her cell phone.” Sarah said smiling, “happy birthday Joel” she said smiling
Joel pulled her into a hug, “thanks so much Sarah. I'll see ya later I'm going to go find Hilary.” he said smiling as he walked off towards the front door.
[Outside]
Hilary got a phone call from her mom while she was waiting for them to bring the cake out. She walked outside to answer it, “hello?”
“Hilary I'm sorry for calling you right now but this is very important” her mothers voice said on the other line.
Hilary could hear concern in her voice, “mom what’s wrong?”
“Hilary we just got papers today and they are from Bryce....” she said pausing
Hilary looked around, “okay what kind of papers?” she asked resting her left hand on her stomach
Her mom was quiet for a few seconds, “Hilary, Bryce sent you papers to take you to court....”
“What! For what?” Hilary yelled in disbelief
“He wants to take you court to take the baby away from you.” her mother said trying to be calm
Hilary looked around in disbelief, “you have to be kidding me! He cant take my baby away i didn't do anything wrong!”
“Hilary I know but he told the court that you cheated on him while you were pregnant and were still together. Since you are with Joel he’s using Joel as a target to get what he wants.” her mother said, “I know its not true Hilary but he has the court convinced that it is. Your court date is next Friday.”
Hilary's mouth dropped, “oh my fucking god! He has them convinced that while I was with him I was seeing Joel and cheating on Bryce with him? That is fucking crazy I was never with Joel when were together! I didn't start dating Joel until about two months after I met him!” she said as tears welled up in her eyes, “this is fucked up. Mom I'll be home soon okay.”
“Hilary I'm sorry about this. We will figure something out okay? I'll talk to you when you get home.” her mom said, “I love you bye.”
“Bye mom” Hilary said hanging up
Joel walked out of the door and towards her after spotting her, “hey babe what are you doing out here?” he asked
Hilary put her cell phone but in her handbag, “Joel my mom just called me and guess what!” she said looking at him
“What darling?” he asked watching her
“She just got some papers that are from Bryce. He’s taking me to court to try to take my baby away from me!” she said holding back the tears from forming, “can you fucking believe that?” she asked looking at him
Joel put his arm around her and pulled her close to him, “Hilary you have nothing to worry about okay? He was the one who did all those bad things to you.”
“Yeah you're right. Lets go back inside” she said smiling some at Joel. She didn't want to ruin Joel's birthday so she dropped the subject and tried not to think about it as they headed back inside to join the rest of the people.
