  I like the concept, and I agree that it is more realistic for Dudley to continue in his established ways that to suddenly reform. That DOES happen, but so rarely that the smart money will never bet on it.
  
  I hope you continue this for at least a Chapter or two more, because I also feel it leaves way too many loose ends dangling as it is. The ending is a great "cliffie" if more is to come, but a terrible ending for a story. Like suddenly saying "...and then the little boy woke up."

  hmmm... i go with the other peeps with this... this doesn't look like a one-shot... it's like a bigger part of something. i really do hope you continue this interesting story. :))

  Love it and it would be poetic to see Dudley's daughter and Rose neck and neck for head girl.
  
  Especially after she graduates and can defend herself.
  
  While some people see the dementor episode and DH scenes turning 'D" around I don't see it. The three biggest bullies in my elementry school all did time. One is doing infinity (life) one finished seven years and is trying to turn around and the last is awaiting a date with a needle.
  
  It takes a really big kick in the nads to turn someone around and with all the negatives in his life I don't see that happening for 'D'. To many years as the selfish bully.

  It's too bad this seems to be a dead fic/ oneshot. It seemed like a decent setup.

  I was kinda hoping for more.
  Would really like the confrontation between Harry and his cousin, that would have been awesome. As well as seen the reaction of both Becky and her daughter meeting Harry and learning about his life.
  Anyway, here's hoping for another chapter.

  Would have been great as part of a longer story preferably in the middle but it makes for a nice opening too but as is it's a tease
