Heh, one of the more original approahces I've seen for resolving the problems with Tom; fairly compact and economical solution, too. It'd be interesting to see a sequel where Ron tries to get back with them and finds that he's burned his bridges most thoroughly and nothing will/can rebuild them. I rather suspect that'd also leave him open to abuse from his sibs; I suspect not even Percy would support this. Of course, with Tom provably dead, I wonder how fifth year would go since Fudge has no reason to attack Harry and every reason to try and get on his good side. It's Good to Feel Remorse

finally someone figured it out that ron caused the troll incident or at least hermione being there and to be honest ron would of never been there to help save hermione if harry had took off running for the bathroom.
I also thought couple of years ago of doing something similiar except I was going to have him suddenly have an enfamy when wormtail stated blood of the enemy part harry would suddenely figure out if he willingly gave it then it would disrupt or screwup the ritual...but your story was still good, and I really like the hp/hg ship. thanks for the entertainment! It's Good to Feel Remorse

Gotta agree with Cateagle and Drakus there.
Ron? Who needs him? Not Harry or Hermione. There are times that they would be much better off without him.
He's often a serious distraction, in more ways than one.
The idea of him being abused by his sibs sounds like a fun one. Hmmm. Maybe... :-)
Good story, and well written. Keep them coming!

in the interest of not repeating the general consensus of anyone who reads this, i'm gonna ask a question. what did tom feel remorse about to reconnect his soul?Author's response
Tom didn't feel any remorse. It was the magi in Harry's blood. Or something like that. Makes no sense in hindsight. But from what I remember when writing, Harry felt so much remorse, that it literally coursed through his veins, due to magic. Considering accidental magic is reflected by your own feelings, not too unrealistic. I hope that answers your question. It's Good to Feel Remorse

This wa s a fresh take on taking down Voldemort, and I liked it. the only thing I didn't like was the unfilled plotholes. Did Albus go to the graveyard and get Voldie and Wormtail's body? Did they ever find the real Moody? Was he still alive, when they did? Since they found a newly dead Wormtail, was Sirius cleared? You kind of alluded to it, but never really said. Is Harry now living with him? How did Fudge, the ministry, and the public, react to the news that Voldemort tried and failed to come back, and is now gone forever? Is Harry now even more famous as The Boy Who Killed Him? So many threads were left dangling, that it really interferred with my enjoyment of the 'happily ever after on the beach with his babe' last paragraphs. My advice? Maybe pull it, fill those ending story plot holes and repost it. I think it would be a much more satisfying story with an ending that didn't leave the reader forever wondering.
