Elementary Calculations

Hail,
I am reading this fic again because of a situation I recently found myself in. This fic is very therapeutic and has bought me out of my funk. Again this fic is given 100% for excellence, originality, quality, and awesomeness. I wonder if Harry will made a certain connection concerning Snape and Sirius, one The Dumb-meddler protected and the other loyal Order member was sent to prison.
I can imagine that on Christmas Eve when Harry meets Sirius and goes to Grimmauld Place, that having complete access to that Black fable library at Grimmauld Place that has not been sanitized would be a serious motivator to move in with Sirius; then there are all the Dark Artifacts that can be studied at leisure? So much information for Harry to learn especially if Harry moves in with Sirius and finds a way to cause a permanent rift between Dumbles and Sirius.
In a rare show of indignation Harry demonstrate to Lord Voldie why first generation witches and wizards is very much needed in the magical world. Why first generation witches and wizards should be taken from abusive households and place in wizarding households as soon as they have been discovered to wizarding households that have gone through a vetting process.

It's a pretty good story so far. I was so mad when Dumbles just started manipulating him again. It's especially bad this time considering he'd already said no as opposed to when he was ignorant of everything. I like Voldemort, he's actually not insane in this one.Elementary Calculations

This story was just referenced in Caer Azkaban, which led me back to re-read the last chapter. Surprised, and apologetic I didn't review it when I first read it.
Excellent story. Love how Harry recognizes when Dumbles wins, and gets around it anyway.
I was expecting that Harry's mail was being intercepted by Dumbles when he turned down Sirius' offer to spend the holidays with him. I guess that would be a bit too blatant for the headmaster.
The train ride was funny.
I do wonder how Harry will react in a few years when hormones start kicking in. I can see this Harry either being overwhelmed when he confuses intimacy with love or else a cold hearted user of women to get his own pleasure (but intelligent about it; giving so as to keep the supply coming).
Thanks for the story. Hope you update soon.

I really enjoyed this story, pity it hasn't been updated in such a long time. I find it funny, though, that in this chapter, Harry talks about manners and all that, yet when it comes to Remus and Sirius, all sense of etiquette and politeness goes flying out the proverbial window. Oh well, wha'ever. Anyhoo, if you're continuing this story, then I eagerly await the next chapter. Thanks for the story so far!
