Have to admit I haven't thought of that character for a looooong time!Author's response
- Johnny the Shine was my favorite character in the Police Squad! series... (With the possible exception of the 'guest star' that died in the opening credits.
- This came (as so many of my bad ideas do) from a discussion on Caer Azkaban about a Hogan's Heroes/Harry Potter cross idea where in it would be shown that Sargent Schultz actually knew EVERYTHING, and his knowledge and abilities had been passed to his nephew, Johnny the Shine, who decides to use his talents to make a buck...The Big Box of Silliness

Wow. That's a whopper. It's been a LONG time since I've dealt with Frank Drebin.
I suspect that the nicely dressed lady at the end didn't exactly take his advice. ;-)
