Sorry for all the reviews spaced a few minutes apart.
In a review you mentioned that Harry will be going back in time and in a way seen on the series. If it's not the guardian of forever. I'm guessing they do a warp slingshot around the sun?Author's response
Keeping in mind that I have a tentative outline written up, that's how I plan on doing it for now. this may change depending on circumstances, or if I can come up with a logical way to send him back or keep him there without blowing the whole story.

I am certainly enjoying this tale. It brings back memories of watching the TOS the first time around..
if I recall correctly 'guardian at the edge of forever' was written by Harlan Ellison.
I like the Vette bit. as most, I thought it was cribbed from the movie trailer also, until I read your comment above.
I helped a guy install a clutch in one of these some years ago, and as payment for my help, he let me drive it ..130mph down Morse Rd. thing handled like crap next to my current ride, but then it WAS a 65 vette, so who cares.
great story. I am following your updates on the Yahoo groups as well as here.
my wish for this is that Harry returns to Hermione. we'll see, I guess
Author's response
I'm glad that you like it. currently my next chapter is being beta'ed as I type. Hopefully she'll get it finished soon. Several other people have suggested that I have Hermione and Harry get together in this universe. I will admit that Hermione will reappear eventually. I did post a real rough cut of that scene on one of the Yahoo groups I'm part of, perhaps you read it. It will be modified drastically, but it's still going to be the same general scene and yes, Hermione will still be in it.

I have, since the last chapter, the feeling that the nuclear bombing was a move to try and eradicate the wizarding world...
The end of this chapter gives me a mixed feeling: At first, I thought that it indicated that Harry will go back to his time and save Dudley, using Annie's magic, but I had missed her age. Now, I don't know...
There are lots of mysteries, still (did the Goblins survive, thanks to the wards and the deep tunnels and it was them that creeped Harry when he used magic in front of the memorial? If it was not the Goblins, who? And why didn't they try to contact him? Who, of the order survived? ... I'll stop here!)
On a side note: Imagine the face of the death eaters, when Harry is back, with Klingon aggressiveness!
Please, update soon: I'd love to know what did and will happen!
Author's response
All I can say is that the nuclear attacks were not an attempt to intentionally destroy the magical world. I've got an explanation that I don't think that anyone has thought of before. If someone has used this in a previous story, I've not read it. As for other magical creatures, such as goblins, centaurs, house elves and the like, they are around as are wizards and witches, but are not interacting with Harry just yet. Harry has a few things to go through before an explanation occurs, like the normal teenage life that very few seem to want to let him have.
