BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT!!!!
This is one of the best stories I have read in a long time. Interesting, unique, well written, and thought provoking everything a good story needs it provides. I loved how Harry handled Hermione, the marginalized Ron, how he came into his powers, the paring was also a massive plus (Luna/Harry/Hermione all the way).
The only disappointment that I felt throughout the whole story was the lack of the protective father moment that you hinted at. I would have loved to see your take on the over used cliche of an overly protective father.
Thank you for posting this epic tail. it's so refreshing to see such a brilliant story play out, it reminds me why I fell in love with this fandom to begin with.
I wish you the best of luck and hope that you get many reviews. I will also be looking forward to reading any other writing you post.

That's it, that's the end. This story is one of the best and funniest i have ever read. I just wish we could have read what Hermione's reaction to the monument was.Harry Potter and The Mind

This is really a rather brilliant story. There is a small problem with not all the chapters showing up on the pull down menu, but hey nothing is perfect. I love the premise of you can do anything you set your mind to, quite literally in this case.
Is this your only fic? If so, I can’t wait to see what else you write in the future. If not, where can I find your other work?
Once again, great work, a really enjoyable read.

Thank you for your kind words. This is my only fic to be published so far. I noticed the chapter problem too, and had to delete a whole chapter and replace because it got chopped off on the first page. Hopefully I caught the issue, but I am finding out that many folks have technical issues with the behavior of this site.Harry Potter and The Mind

An outstanding story very clever idea and spin on things. It was great that Ron's was a bit player in events as that is what he is he adds nothing but trouble and anger to anything he is part of. I am glad Hermione got her thinking sorted it is about time her know it all attitude was sorted. I liked what was done with Luna she is an ideal counterpart for Harry.
Very creative ideas a joy to read it would be good if there was another chapter to finish things fully or a follow on. Thanks very much I look forward to your next story.Author's response
Thank you. It was fun making Hermione unable to keep being Miss Bossy-boots. ;-)Harry Potter and The Mind

Damn good so far with 'Super" Harry cleaning house and taking old Tom out in a very satisfying way!
The only other critique is the quickness of Luna entering the story compared to the slow methodical yet humiliating walk Hermione had through the story so far!
And the quickness of the updates means to me you have this already done and we'll get updates soon!

Chapter 27 is the end of this fic, and says "FIN" at the bottom (assuming this web site didn't chop it off).Harry Potter and The Mind

I'd love to review this story as I managed to read the first several paragraphs of the first chapter and the last chapter written to date. It sounds like it will most likely be a very compelling story and just up my alley. Sadly, I can't. I can't because to read what I did read I had to have my face 6 inches in front of the monitor and I was not willing to put in the time or the headache and back pain reading it all the way through would cause.
This site, for all the stuff it does do, does NOT allow one to change the font size and it's WAAAAAY too small to read by people who need glasses. Is this story posted anywhere else? Can you see your way clear to post it somewhere else where we can increase the font size? If not, could I talk you into sending it to me in a doc format so I can let Word increase the font? I'd really love to read it and if it is as good all through it as it is in what I have read so far, (what bit I could stand to read hunched up and glassy eyed at the monitor) I'd be willing to rec. it to the several sties and lists I belong to.
Please let me know where I can read this without being in moderate to severe discomfort.Author's response
If you are using Internet Explorer or Firefox, you can hold the Ctrl key and hit the "+" key. (Ctrl-+). This enlarges the font size on any web page, no matter what you are browsing. If you don't have a number keypad (like using a laptop), you can use the "+" near the backspace key.
You can also hold the Ctrl key and zoom in and out using the mouse wheel.
It also works on Linux, but I can't speak for Mac OS.
This fic is not on any other site yet, as I have found their upload procedures to be quite dumb. Some of them make you FTP files, some make you send in email, and then wait for an email response, which often never comes.
Try the zoom thing, and let me know via my direct contact info how it works out.Harry Potter and The Mind

This is an utterly brilliant and original story. I must admit that many good things come in small packages and this story is a very good thing!
Two minor criticisms, the appearance of Luna into the picture was very sudden; perhaps beginning to introduce her at the beginning - if only a few lines or mention in Harry's musings - would have made the story slightly stronger, but nevertheless it still works.
Secondly, I think a possible epilogue is needed just to tie things up nicely, but again it is still OK as it stands.

I considered doing an epilogue, or longer denoument, but decided against it for one reason: I wasn't able to come up with ideas for it that weren't already done to death. ;-) Thanks for your review.Harry Potter and The Mind

Thanks for the interesting story! Some points could have used a bit more development, but I did enjoy it a great dealHarry Potter and The Mind

Nice story. Just has a little too much power there, no matter being the strongest wizard ever.
If the AK could be stopped and apparating into Hogwarts could be done by not knowing it couldn't be done, muggle born would be able to do it when attacked prior to knowing about magic.Author's response
This story has nothing to do with "not knowing it couldn't be done", so I'm not sure what that was about. The new tricks are explained in the story as the result of studying the medium in a new way.
