Definitely a good story. Liked how he got to where he was. A bit to powerfull for my personal tastes, but definitely one of the best stories i've read in a while.Author's response

Excellent, thanks for posting.
I was initially worried that this story was going to descend into the usual morass of cliches, but you avoided that adroitly, adhering to your plot firmly and telling the story with some flair.
I think there are a number of plot holes, but bluntly, who cares? Your use of closure to allow the reader to fill in unneeded detail in the story was very well done. Added to the consistent plot, and I found the story compelling reading.
Thank you again for sharing it with us.Author's response
Thank you. Looking back on the finished work, there are things that I probably would have mucked about with... but that may not have actually improved anything. ;-)Harry Potter and The Mind

I like the "You can't do that! I can't?" routine.
Mainly because of how often its true.
Enjoyed it.Author's response
I try to live my life that way. "You can't do that!" "Sure I can. I just did."Harry Potter and The Mind

A really good story. No masterpiece thought. Harry gets his power to easy and is too powerfull. Its a pity canon Harry is a weakling so some of it unavoidable. Why do you let Harry wait for months when he can kill all deadeaters whenever and everywhere he wish. Like I said too powerfull.Author's response
I waited to give him the opportunity to expose some rats in the wainscotting, and to change some minds.Harry Potter and The Mind

This was a wonderful story!
I was so taken I had a hard time stopping reading to go to bed, last night...
By the way... Does Deidre knows that Harry loves Freddy? Because it would stop her from thinking she is too old for him ;-p
Thanks for sharing this!

That's a neat idea about Dierdre; it didn't occur to me. Hm, maybe it would be fun to see a fic with her and Tonks... Nah, that's just my dirty mind talking.
Thanks for your review.Harry Potter and The Mind

Brilliant work!
I've read way too much fanfiction, both in my and my friends' opinions, but stories like this are the reason I can't stop.
A very entertaining read that kept me hooked on it for the day, this story has everything it needs to be great and has accomplished it with ease.
I liked the characters, and found the narration to be easy to follow and thought-provoking.
Keep up the great work, I hope to see other stories from you soon.Author's response
I probably read too much fanfiction as well, so I know what you mean. Thank you for your review; it's comments like this that makes the work worthwhile.Harry Potter and The Mind

I came upon your story quite by accident, but enjoyed it as much as anything that I have read in many months.
Your explanation on HOW Harry powered up was logical, and a great summary of canon HP.
I appreciated the insightfulness of his relationship with Hermione, I am pretty resolute in my Harmony shipping, but do realize that canon Hermione has some serious character flaws that she needs to overcome. I thought you way was excellent.
thanks for sharing your skill and talents as a writer
warm regards

I know some of the ones I found by accident have turned out to be my favorites! And I have always been a non-Ginny shipper.
Thank you for your kind review.Harry Potter and The Mind

Glad I stumbled across this gem of yours - really liked the pacing of the fic.
Harry never gave up on Hermione despite her being very hard-assed. Luna will be a big help - especially her "freddy" persona.
Perhaps 'Mione and "freddy" can collaborate on an unabridged "Hogwarts, a History"
So 7 of 9 was in action as Prof Deirdre (thats the image that popped into my noggin when you introduced her in the Great Hall)! Glad Harry was able to help her in the fic.
Looking foward to your next effort!

Thank you for your review. I wasn't thinking of "7 of 9", but I can certainly see why you think so. I was picturing a young Mimi Rogers, but then that's showing my age. ;-)Harry Potter and The Mind

This is a VERY refreshing view on what could have happened. I was up until 4 in the morning finishing this! Beautifully constructed characters especially Harry. I always thought he was a bit on the wimpy side in the canon version with exceptions. Thank you for your absolutely amazing story.Author's response
You're quite welcome, and thank you for your nice review. I agree with you; Harry is much too wimpy in canon, for a boy in his late teens.
