Escape and Return!

Always great to read a DrT story, and this one does not disappoint. Your writing has evolved, become crisper, flows better. I was pleasantly surprised to find the story when I came back after a long time away. You are and will remain one of my favorite "Must Read" authors!
I would love to see you move beyond Hogwarts, though. Perhaps sequel some of your own stories. I had an idea reading one of yours years ago where a technomage having seen the vulnerability of Europe's antiquated Ministry in dealing with anything new decides to take over Britain. He is able to do so using High Definition Television. He discovered that while Analog would not carry spell energy, High Definition and the PAL format would. It is up to Harry and Hermione (Perhaps with Luna as well) having grown up in Britain and trained in Techno Magic to deal with him. I've never had time to develop the idea, but you are welcome to it should you be so inclined.
Anyway, always a pleasure to read you and I hope you keep at it!Escape and Return!

That was an enjoyable wrap-up and I had to chuckle about what happened to some of the characters (Ginny -and- Colin, given their shared fixation on Harry? Ewww!). I rather suspect that Percy has embraced, quite literally, other aspects of magic and their practitioners. I love it that Harry finally gets his quiet time with family while supporting his wives in doing what they want and becoming known for it (heh, a very supportive spouse is quite important, too).
I'm quite definitely looking forward to your next story, whatever it may be.Escape and Return!

Funny to read of the Harry Potter fanboy and fangirl getting together. Hmm. Rather sad, too, to think about it. Oh well.
And Percy must have had a very ... interesting ... life. :-)
What I liked was how Daphne was 'shunned by both sides'. I liked the note of realism that her attempt to be politically savvy didn't automatically succeed first try. And you don't get second tries sometimes. Particularly not when you've demonstrated that you're dangerous. Good one.
Well, nice to see something new from you. For what it's worth, my suggestion for a new Dr. T story? One where you reverse things a bit from your norm; have Hermione come to the rescue of Harry for one. Or her and Luna. Harry's gone missing / imprisoned, the two girls get together and go all out to save him. Just a thought.
Anyway, thanks for giving us this story! Cheers.Escape and Return!

this was another interesting and enjoyable variation on the theme of the Druids and Old magic that you invented.
I liked the way you had them PLAN - a forgotten skill in canon, and the punishment of the senior Hogwarts staff for knuckling under to Dumbles' ddarkness.
thanks for sharingEscape and Return!

Nice, satisfying and I can see Harry as a house-husband. Course that means some moron who tries to use his kids against him will be known as the first magical comet headed to the sun!
Slow-burn!

Very enjoyable story. Nice wrap up. Ginny and Collin - fitting. Funny about their children burning their stuff afterwards.
Percy - I got the impression he failed as a Gryff and went along because he was afraid. In which case, he may have had a very strange, and mostly unpleasant life. (I would expect lots of those red-headed children to have been conceived while he was under the influence of drugs, so he may not remember the incidents :-)
Thanks for the story.

I laughed when I read the part about Colin and Ginny. That they named all of their children some masculine or feminine variation of Harry is not really surprising when two people that obsessed with Harry Potter marry each other. I will admit the titles of some of those role playing things, and the implications of them, were kind of creepy. I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow found a way for Colin to impregnate her while under some kind of Harry Potter Polyjuice.
Huh, Daphne's plan backfired, that was a big shocker...not.
House husband Harry, saw that one coming a mile away given who the wives were.Author's response
(RE: Ginny, Colin, their games, and the little Harrys)I'm sure someone else has done something similar, but if so I haven't come across it, so I couldn't resistEscape and Return!

I'm a little confused about what's the story with the 'new' Hogwarts. It seems to be like a magical sixth-form college, combined with a sort of magical polytechnic college/university?
Also, what's the major Harry 'ship here; H/Hr/Luna? thinkingEscape and Return!
