Chapter 36: Target Rin
Naruto is given a scroll containing the secrets of making women fall for him, a scroll he uses at first on the women around him but soon on the shinobi world as a whole, giving birth to the Ero-ninja.

So I suppose the prison arc is about to end.The next one is supposed to be back to the past arc right??(or something like that)
Anyways Joseki and Danzo's plots are really a lot more complicated than initially thought. Anyways I don't see them going down without a fight .
Also what happened to the prisoners that escaped the Konoha prison(more specifically what happened to Mizuki . I hope he suffered a slow agonizing death).

Honestly, I think this chapter lacks the quality of most of the other chapters. Maybe due that I find your explanation for Rin's disappearance to be not believable, not to mention you have not explain any connection to canon, where Rin died at Kakashi's hands.
Also, honestly, I think Rin does not help advance the story at all. With Tsunade, Shizune, and Sakura, you already have plenty of medics, so what purpose will Rin have in the overall story?
So in the end, adding Rin to the harem does not help the story at all. Heck, if you remove this chapter and just add the Mikoto backstory to other chapters, the overall story would be okay without the Rin storyline.
Anyway, I await the next chapter, especially Mikoto. :)Eroninja

I love how you dropped hints on what happened when Kakashi killed Rin. If I read this right, Kakashi killed a Zetsu clone in your story and they buried that clone quickly so the switch was never discovered. Very creative way of using newly discovered canon material. You deserve a standing ovation.Eroninja

Eh, why did Kushina have to go and erase all the memories of Rin's time as joseki's puppet?? She would've gained lots of knowledge and experience during her time when she was controlled.Eroninja

Why do I get the feeling that Asuma might work for root too and Tsunade might have an idea about it and is trying to manipulate him but that's just me. I can't wait for the next update.Eroninja

I thought you did a nice job connecting Rin to the story. Her disappearance lacks a bit of detail but the Zetsu clone swap was a nice touch. I'm anticipating that we'll hear more of the frantically paced explanation of why Kakashi and Minato closed Rin's case so quicky. Obviously Kakashi and Minato knew Rin was a doppelganger (you would think) so why they put "her" into the ground so quickly leaves much to our imaginations. If they even put "her" into the ground at all...
I like the Kushina piece. I'm all for the twisted carnal love story but I'm also curious where you plan to go with it, and if it will turn into a plot twist few, if any, of us are anticipating.
I also noticed you set up the premise for a future confrontation with the Kiri nin. Her own demons will put her on a collision path with Naruto, but that is too far away to be seen at the moment.
And of course for the immediate future there is Rin's lost memories. I expect that is what the next chapter will touch most on, as well as Mikoto integrating herself with the plans and people of Naruto's group.
