  Okay, so when do we get to see Avenger Harry? And yes, I definitely wanted to gouge my eyes out after having read this. Teen angst - the horror, the horror!!!

  I didn't mean to show Eveline as a bad person. She was fifteen, and not meant to be any more self-centered than the typical teenager. I tried to portray that, but judging by your and similar comments, I should have had at least one more conversation between Hermione and Eveline, showing even more that she's scared for her future and unsure of how to act like a good wife even if it's not to the husband she wanted.
  
  Hmm... If I'd done it right, that could even have added to the angst factor: showing that even though she's a mostly good person, her situation is getting worse partly because of her own limitations.

  Dear Lord, this was like reading a Harry Potter version of Twilight in the teen angst area....okay, that's a gross exhaggeration, but you get the point.
  
  Aside from that, I think it was a good portrayal of the different ways people are capable of dealing with situations. Harry, having grown up and survived shit like that could just deal with it. Hermione, having an adjustable moral compass that let her lash out at stupidity was a good fit for helping him. Eveline was just a teenage girl, who hadn't had it all that bad previously, and didn't have the stomach to deal with things...though admittedly, her situation was bad.
  
  I'm very interested in seeing some Avenger Harry, and I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Harry and Hermione's reunion. It should prove to be decidedly amusing.
  
  Yes, I agree that was a very bad analogy in you AN, even if it was pretty much the truth. I can't count how many ideas I've had spawn from reading just Odd Ideas, never mind his other fics.

  This is a great start to a story that could be a strange mix between angst and humor. I can see how it could go into either genre. Keep it up.

  This is a great start however I would love to see more of this showing perhaps a pov of eveline when they broke up, what do others people have to say as divorce in the wizarding world won't be favourable and will she regret letting harry go. Would love to see h/hr ending
