Jay Tried to hold all the anger in him and kept his voice steady. He glared at Theresa.
"Can I talk to you Theresa? It's pretty important if you know what I'm saying." Theresa smiled and nodded.
"Yeah of course you can. I'll be one minute okay Adrien?" Adrien nodded and smiled.
"Take your time babe." Theresa blushed and walked a few feet away from the table. Theresa turned to Jay.
"What is it you want to talk about?"

"Why are you with Adrien?" Theresa giggled a bit.
"I was showing him around the school and then he invited me to have lunch with him. Is that a problem Jay or do I have to ask your permission to have lunch with a friend?" Jay couldn't hold his anger by then.
"Theresa have you not noticed anything that i have done to show you that i liked you?! I tried to be obvious was I not?!" Theresa looked at him, first she looked as if she were about to cry, but anger welled up in her emerald eyes.

"What?!" Theresa was beyond mad by this point.
"I gave you so many chances for you to have me, and you blew every sinlge chance I gave you! And I dont want to wait for you anymore! I'm tired of waiting that's all I've been doing since i met you! I'm tired of waiting, I want to go out with someone and not have to wait!" Jay stood there speechless.

"Theresa please just listen to me-"

Theresa began to walk back to her table, until Jay grabbed her wrist. She whirled around and slapped him so hard, it started to swell up. Jay couldn't believe she hit him. She never hit him. Never. Theresa let a single tear stroll down her face. She wiped it away quickly and not only had a hurt look in her eyes, but also an angered look in her eyes.
"Next time you hurt me like you just did, i will do worse." She wiped away another tear and walked back to her table with Adrien. Jay stood there, dumbfounded and saddened as Adrien kissed her on the cheek. Jay felt a tear form in his eye. He was too late.

Jay walked back to his table, with tears in his eyes and a swollen face. The others were just as shocked as he was. Theresa was never like that; even to Archie! Herry looked at him sad friend.
"Jay are you alright?" Jay wouldn't answer him. He kept letting tears fall from his eyes. Finally after many minutes of watching tears fall from his eyes, he mumbled something.
"I was too late guys....I was too late and look what happened....I was too late."

p.s i was getting a lot of questions about the last chapter with the 'well hey there girl' line, so i thought i'd explain it to you. Okay so it was said by Neil. We know that he has a girly side since he is acting like a girl....sorry for the confusion!
