a scouting mission gone up in flammes

I had to choose some people that i could work quietly with, maybe 3, maybe 2, no, only one. I knew right away who i would choose.
"Atlanta" i whispered, I looked at Theresa's and Herry's empty beds and sighed
"what?" she asked sleepily
"Theresa and Herry were captured, i need you up now" i told her
"What about the others?" she asked sitting up strait
"I'll leave a text message on the PMR" i told her
"We'll need back-up Jay" she said
"No, this is just a look-out mission, no attacking, we'll stay off the ground, in trees, come on" i said as i typed away at the PMR, this is what i wrote:
Me and Atlanta are gone to find the spirit people's hideout, we will be back as soon as possible, DO NOT track us and come after us, it will give away our hiding place, we wont attack or anything, just a scouting thing. Please get ready by the time we get back.

"Ready" i said turning my PMR on vibration instead of ring. We left the cabin at a run, we started into the forest, i chose Atlanta cause the two of us were best with the forest and we had quiet footsteps unlike the others. We ran silently threw the trees, i was following a scent in the air that smelled like a dead cat...or dead flesh. We ran till we heard murmuring from ahead of us, then we took to the trees, jumping like monkeys from one tree to the next, 20 to 30 feet above the ground. I kept my eye out for the camp, i found it.
"Atlanta, stop, i see it, it's right there" i said pointing at a camp not far from us, i could make out figures doing various work, one boy in a green shirt was carrying wood and was being...WIPPED! "Herry" Atlanta wimpered "this is terrible" she said
"yes, we need to get them out of here" i said, i checked my watch; 8:30. They must have found my note by that time! "We can't leave them like this, i'm calling re-enforcemen-" i was cut off by a howling sound, screaming from both girls and boys, me and Atlanta swung to another tree to get a better look at what was going on. The screams sounded familiar, there was a gathering group at the center of the camp, a bunch of people were tied up, Odie, Neil and Archie, the girl scream had been Neil. "crap" i said, Atlanta almost burst out crying at the sight of Archie on the ground tied up. I patted the huntress on the back. "They got my text message" i said dryly, Atlanta glared at me. "Where are they!?" Archie yelled at some men that still had bodies "your orange haired friend is in the tent with some of my more...loyal men and the boy is working in the woods" The cheif spirit that had visited me said
"Jay! Atlanta!" Odie yelled
"No, no, that is Theresa and Herry, the leader and huntress are not here, they were smart enough not to come, though you, you were stupid, young Achilles" he said "Man, your boyfriend is dim" i told Atlanta, she gave me another glare.
"take them to the cages, keep them in seperate cages" the cheif spirit ordered, my three friends were dragged away towards the south end of the camp. Me and Atlanta sat down, i became consumed in my thoughts for a plan "There's an unlimited supply of spirits, we need to sneak them out, and vamoose" i said aloud to Atlanta "so, we need to locate them right away, then get them out, not killing or hurting a singal spirit?" Atlanta asked "yes, but we'll need help, stay here and keep a look out, i'll get the others" i said "the others?" Atlanta asked "yes, our companions on this trip" i said "we can't work with them" Atlanta said simply "we can and we will, otherwise, everyone dies" i said jumping from tree to tree till i was out of the sight of the camp. I went strait to Medillia, Talia, Echo, Pan and Calypso, i told them everythign that had happened and asked for their help
"Why should we help you?" Pan asked, the coconut insident must still be in his head, this guy has some serious letting go issues
"I'll help" Calypso said right away
"me too" Echo added
"I will help you" Talia said
"sure, whatever" Medillia said, they all turned to look at Pan
"No way!" he said
"come on Pan, the only way off this island is to get a portal from Hermes and Odie has the ONLY PMR that can speak with Hermes, and Odie has it with him and he is in the clutches of evil ghost men" i lied,
"Fine, i'll come! What's your plan?" Pan asked
"Okay, we have 5 people to rescue, we have about 9 hours to do it, we cannot be seen, we cannot be caught or suspected" i said "Odie's better at this stuff then me, but i think using my PMR i can hook up holographic images to replace the people we save, Archie, Odie and Neil are our first targets, then Herry then Theresa. We do it in groups, Atlanta is our look out scout from the tree, Echo will destract the guards with her voice, Pan, i want you to stay with Echo and restrain any guards that don't leave, using those vines. Calypso as our other look out on the other side of the camp, Talia and Medillia, your going to help me get them all out of there" i told them, they nodded and we started into the forest.
I really wanted to save Theresa first, but i knew there would be a lot of man in the tent where she was, so if we could keep a low profile till Theresa's tent, it would be most logical...I could only pray that i would get along with my new teammates.
