  Very nice job on the Lupin interactions; I can't wait to see how Harry relates to Black, as he has Snape as a father-like figure already. Keep up the good work.

  Perhaps Snape can get into Grimmauld under the guise of teaching Harry potions or perhaps occlumency?

  An interesting twist to the Harry Potter saga. It's nice to read a story involving Severus and Harry that doesn't include slash.
  One wonders what would happen between the two, if Snape wasn't such a jerk. Now, we have an idea
  Of course, Dumbledore seems bound and determined to muck it up in any fashion he can. "For the greater good, of course." I think that man is as bad as Voldemort, with one excepttion. Voldemort doesn't dissimilate, tell half truths, or lie by omission. He tells people exactly what he thinks, and that's it. On the other hand, he's a psychotic maniac. (But I understand he has a wonderful singing voice.)
  I have placed this on my 'alerts' list and hope to read more soon.

  Dumbledore seems determined to keep Harry in the dark, doesn't he? I'm sure, in Rowling's mind, Remus was as distant as he was in most of PoA because of Dumbledore's commands.

  I'm really enjoying this fic so far :) I particularly like Hiss, she seems like a very insightful snake ;) I think the story could stand to be a bit less choppy, but in general it's quite good. I love how Severus is so protective of his relationship with Harry :)
