1 week after their anniversery
Atlanta had been feeling sick all week and throwing up every morning. She was a getting a little worried, so she decided to go to the doctor.
"hey Theresa?" Atlanta asked her firend as she was walking past her room.
"yea lanta?" She responded
"can you drive me to the hospital?" she asked
"are you okay?" Theresa asked concern clear in her voice.
"I've been sick all week and I keep throwing up in the morning, so I decided to get it checked out" Atlanta said
"okay" Theresa said but in the back of her mind she partialy knew what the results would be.
They arrived at the hospital and waited for the doctors to get back with her results.
"what do you think it is?" Atlanta asked a little worried
"well.. it could be anything" Theresa said fidiling with her keys.
"Theresa, your hiding something from me" atlanta said
"no I'm not" she said fidiling still
"yes you are so what is it?" Atlanta asked
"well do you really want to know?" Theresa asked
"yes" Atlanta said simply
"well I've read alot of books and..." Theresa was interupted when the doctor came in with a confused look on his face.
"what is it?" Atlanta asked even more worried by the look on his face.
"congratulations your pregnent" he said. Atlanta's jaw dropped.
"pr..pr..PREGNENT!" she yelled
"shh, it's okay lanta" Theresa said calming her down.
"no, no, no, no this wasn't supposed to happen, I'm only 16"Atlanta said running out.
"Lanta come back!" Theresa yelled chasing her.
Atlanta stopped outside and broke down crying. Theresa ran up and hugged her.
"It's okay lanta" she said helping her up and towords the car
"who's the father?" Theresa asked aftera couple minutes of silence
"Archie" Atlanta said looking down.
"are you going to tell him?" She asked when they stopped at a red light.
"I'm not sure when,but yes" Atlanta said
"okay" Theresa said. The rest of the ride was silent. They arrived at the brownstone and Atlanta went straight for her room. Archie saw her go past and run up to her room.
"hey Theresa what's up with Atlanta?" Archie asked clearly concerned
"umm..well...she...uhh, is really tired yea, and so am I so see ya later" Theresa said running off.
Archie was so not convinced, he walked up to Atlanta's room. He knocked on her door and waited for her to open it.
Meanwhile Atlanta was in her room thinking of what to say to her boyfriend of only 6 months, 'hey archie I'm pregnent', no, 'Arch your going to be a daddy', no, just then there was a knock on the door. She got up and answered it to find none-other than Archie.
"oh hey Arch" Atlanta said smiling nervously
"hey lannie are you okay?" he asked
"yea I'm fine just not feeling 100% right now" She said smiling.
"okay, do you want anything?blankets, ginger ale, soup?" he asked
" I don't want to be a bother" she said. Archie gave her a hug.
"never, I'd do anything for you, so do you want anything?" she asked
"umm, well some ice cream would be nice" she said. Archie cocked an eyebrow
"okay? you want ice cream when your sick?" Archie asked
"yea" Atlanta said shyly.Archie gave her a peck on the cheek.
"okay I'll be back in couple mins, what flavour do you want?" he asked
"just vanila" she said smiling.
"k, be back soon" Archie said leaving.
Archie was on his way back from the store,on his motorcycle. He was almost home when a car was a transport truck was heading towords him, he tried to swerve away but it was to late.
