Nice. This isn't DH Harry, though, but a more depressed, and angry Harry (that should have been in the seventh book. After what Voldemort did to the country Harry still didn't seem to be emotionally effected by it.)
Anyway, looking forward to see what you have in store. Thanks for writing this.

There are writers I will read sight unseen, DrT is one of them.
Thank you
(sight unseen) for a proper ending to DH.

Sigh. Why didn't ficwad send me an alert that you had a new story up? Thanks for your Yahoo group message!
Well ... DH was the triumph of the 'everyman' Harry, to the last someone with only adequate/normal magical powers. Funnily enough, though, there's much more justification for you to write your usual 'super/powerful Harry' based off canon, as we now have the Elder Wand!! Nice to see you/Harry use it. I felt that his plan to dispose of the wand was simplistic or hopeful in the extreme ... all we need is someone to waltz up to him and punch him out, and voila! A new master of the wand is declared!! Let alone the risk of Harry deciding to go on to be an auror, just about the riskiest profession of all! JKR just wasn't thinking.
I would have hoped you might have actually changed your version of the epilogue, but you stated that you're going to 'get the characters to that point'? Oh dear, H/G and R/Hr from Dr. T, has the world come to an end?Author's response
No matter if you like or dislike what I do in this little (4 chapter) fic, I think you'll find you weren't totally surprised, since you know my other stories so well.
And just think, if Harry's wand can react on its own, just think of it powered by the elder wand instead of a little bit of Voldie

When I read DH, one of the things that I was most surprised about was how Hermione's parents were treated.
I'll be interested to see where you take this, dealing with that, and how the Wizarding World dealt with the aftermath.
I do have to add that while I like your stories a lot, and find them to be quite well written, you consistently use the word 'summons' or even 'summonsing' where all the dictionaries I've consulted say 'summon' and 'summoning' are correct. That's bugged me for a couple years now. :-)
Thanks for sharing this with us.The Real Epilogue

I was wondering what effect DH would have on your writing?
I'm,like you, a Luna 'shpper. I felt very teased by DH. The Ginny 'ship was not nearly as well developed as the Cho one. It just seemed to come out of nowhere and had no develpment. The Luna friendship had alot more development!

a most interesting opening for hopefully a plot driven sex and political tour of the potterverse.
will any of your previous original characters have cameo roles in this taleThe Real Epilogue

Damn, I feel like grabbing Percy by the collar and slapping him. Percy, Percy, Percy, "Just following orders" went out as an extenuating excuse with the Nueremburg Trials, that just won't wash with anyone remotely familiar with the rest of the world, like the muggle-born who were the most affected. The Ministry had best find another approach quickly or find themselves in a lot more trouble. The Real Epilogue

Love it T! I hope that you will continue to write, as I've always enjoyed your stories- even if they're not in the HP world, I would LOVE to read them! The Real Epilogue

Augh. Hate when Harry disposes of property he hasn't looked at. Definitely should have looked at Grim. before passing it along.
